"Bagggyyy!!"
"Babe, ya kike?"
"Lafiya kalau babe,"
"Ya akayi kika zo ke kadai?"
"Nahh, I came with Yaya Abbati,"
"Who's that?"
"My supposed fiancé, hehhe,"
"Shi ne ko ki gaya mun?"
"Nima it's not like I knew about the wedding ne,"
"Oooo, "
"Come on, lemme introduce you guys,"
I dragged him by hand all the way up to them. I noticed Ya Abbati glaring at me. Oho dai, can ta matse mai.
"This is Bello Rashid, you may know him better as Baggy, " I spoke.
"Hi," he said.
"Hey," Rabi replied, while those two boys continued glaring. Rude much.
The two men, acting like boys right now, where scanning Baggy from head to toe. It was making even me uncomfortable, not to talk of Baggy. Poor thing.
We got a table and sat down. Turns out Baggy was here alone. Such a coincidence. I made him sit with us. I didn't want him sitting alone when I was sitting in the same restaurant.
I don't know what is wrong Ya Abbati. He keeps kicking my leg under the table. Rabi suggested he was jealous, but I don't believe so because we've only known each other for a couple of days.
"So what would everyone like?" I asked as the waiter came towards our table. Almost immediately Ya Abbati said,
"Baby, I want pizza ni kam, does everyone else agree?" he looked pointedly at Baggy.
"Yeah sure," Baggy replied with that easy going smile that I love. It made me want to pinch his cheeks, so I did just that.
"Oooh babe, kin fara ko. Leave my cheeks alone,"
"No way babe, those cheeks are mine,"
"And so is everything else if you want,"
"You know I'll forever want that,"
"Awwwwn babe, I'm so.."
He was cut off by Ya Abbati clearing his throat.
"Let's order shall we,"
We ordered three medium sized pizzas and Chapman for everyone.
As we waited, the atmosphere was tense. Everyone was too quiet.
"Heyyy let's play a game before the food comes,"
Everyone chorused their agreement, again, except for Ya Abbati.
"Alright, the game is simple. We're going to go round the table and each person will ask a question that everyone else has to answer,"
"Alright, thats easy enough," Baggy said.
"How about Baggy goes first?" Ya Abbati said yet again."Uhmmm... Everyone has to state their first ever crush,"
We went clockwise round the table and the answering went from Baggy to Me then Rabiah then Abdul and finally Ya Abbati.
