Dear future husband, theres a few things you need to know if you wanna be my one and only all my life

RUKAYYA

Abbati let out a huge gasp, scaring me and Rabiah.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You'll never believe it,"

"What?!!"

"We're going to be living in the same compound!"

"Shikenan, mu kam abincin mu zai sha wuya," Rabiah exclaimed.

"Mu kan mu ma dai. I bet you they'll make our apartment their restaurant,"

"Gaskiya da matsala. How can this be?"

"Come on girls, look at the bright side. Everytime we go out you can come with us. We'll be closer than ever, I mean isn't it better to live with us than a couple of strangers?"

It's not you guys I'm worried about, it's that Devil. Imagine, he had the nerve to joke about with me as if we're friends. If that's what he thinks then he has another thing coming.

"On the plus side though, we can send them on errands and save our own money,"

"Ai kam," I smile brightly.

"Oooo so you want to turn us into your servants ko?"

"Yes now, or do you plan on paying for the food you guys will be eating?" Rabiah says.

That shuts Abbati up for good until we reach the house.

"Alhamdulillah," I say as I get down. Moments later Abdul walks out.

"Ahh, why'd you bring them with you?"

"Are you sending us away?" his bae says.

"Noo, I was just wondering fa,"

"If you must know...."

"They're our new neighbors," Abbati finishes.

At this, Abdul starts dancing.

"Ehhhhh.... Ehhhhhh..... Free restaurant.... Ehhhh.... Ehhhhh,"

He sings as he dances. We all burst out laughing when Rabiah starts her own.

"Ehhhhh..... Ehhhhhh..... Free shows.... Ehhhh..... Ehhhhh.....,"

"You guys are truly made for each other wallah," Abbati says just as I say

"Kun dace wallah,"

We all burst out laughing once more. Munir must have gotten tired of all the commotion, because next thing we knew he was standing outside looking confused.

"What're they doing here?"

"They're our neighbors," Abdul says overly excited. Munir cringes.

"Da gaske wai?" he says.

"Toh who has time to be lying to you?" Abbati says to him.

Munir lets out a hiss and walks back to their apartment.

"What's up with him?" Abdul says.

"He has been behaving like that since I returned home. I've tried talking to him but it doesn't seem to be working. Infact the only time he's laughed since then was today,"

"What made him laugh?" Rabiah asked curiously.

"My very own baby's eating habits," Abbati says, cracking up, probably remembering the event.

"Hala she ate three shawarmas or a whole pizza?" Rabiah says.

"Ashe kema tana miki. She ate a whole pizza in record time fa," Abdul says.
