__________________"What I think of...Chenle?" I blink in confusion after I hear his question. "What do you mean?"
"I mean what I mean. Your thoughts on him." Renjun says, with a look of all seriousness in his eyes.
"Hm...well," I pondered on his question. Chenle...he was someone that just suddenly came into my life, just like Renjun. Truth to be told, I don't even know him very well besides that he was born with a silver spoon. "A boss?" I decided on the perfect word to describe him.
"A boss?" Renjun repeated, furrowing his brows.
"Yeah, I mean...he offered me a job, and it's not like I know him very well." I spoke my thoughts to him.
"Then would you like to know him better?" Renjun asked.
My eyes widened upon his question.
"I never really thought of that...but I guess, it wouldn't be too bad to have him as a friend."
"Why? Because he's rich?"
I snickered at his words.
"No, that's not it. I don't know how people like you think up there, but I simply think that he is a good person. After all, both of you helped me. Is that not right?" I smiled.
Unexpectedly, Renjun returned my smile as his lips curved into one.
"You're just like your brother..." He mutters.
"Sorry, what?"
"Nothing. Anyways, earlier, you said I was alone. But I am not," Still keeping his smile, he glances behind me. "Here comes Chenle." He says as he pushes his chair out.
Chenle approaches the two of us.
"Ha Eun?" Chenle smiles as he sees me, a hint of shock on his face. "You hungry?" He chuckled, glancing at my empty cup noodles.
Before I could respond, Renjun cuts in.
"Yah, Chenle. She thinks of you as a boss. Don't be too friendly!" He laughs at him.
"What? A boss?" Chenle seems taken aback as he looks at me in shock. "Why?" He whines.
"She said she doesn't even know you that well." Renjun continues laughing at the whining Chenle.
As I witness the two brother's exchange, my lips break into a huge grin.
"Doesn't know me well..." Chenle frowns. "Well then, Hi! I'm Chenle studying in Jeonghal School of Business and Finance, first year. Aged 17, and I am also Chinese! Uh, and,"
"Okay, Chenle. Enough." Renjun chuckles.
Chenle pouts in dismay.
"So you're Chinese...it's no wonder." I say as a cold breeze blew past us, my hair fluttering in the wind as I shivered.
Chenle seemed to notice since he offered his coat to me.
"No, I'm fine." I rejected his offer.
"Just use it. No need to worry." He wraps the coat around my shoulders.
"Thanks..."
"Oh, god. My cue to leave." Renjun sighs as he looks at the both of us, waving goodbye.
"Wait, why?" The two of us speak simultaneously.
"Chenle, remember to walk her home!" He exclaims, ignoring our question completely.
"Huh..." Chenle frowns. "Oh well. Are you done eating?" He looks down at me with a smile.
"Uh huh." I nod in response.
"Shall we depart?" Chenle extends a hand towards me.
"Yeah..." I trail off, staring at his hand for a few good seconds.
"Hey, come on! Don't leave me hanging." Chenle frowned as he probes me to take his hand, and so I reluctantly did.
"There! So you won't get lost." He says as we begin to leave the store.
"Get lost? In my neighbourhood? Do you even know which direction to head?" I chuckled at him.
"Of course, of course. I live nearby too, you know? Besides, it's not like I've never walked you home before," He grins, making me feel at ease. "But hey,"
He starts as he raises our clasped hands to his eye level. "Your hand's tiny!" His grin widened.
"Can't blame me that your hand just happened to be bigger!" I retorted.
"Sure, whatever you say, Ha Eun," He chuckles. "Anyway, you said we didn't know each other well, right? Still can't believe you think of me as only a boss..." He frowns.
"I did. Not exactly a boss, but somewhat like one?" I tried to explain myself.
"Okay, then, I'll ask you some questions and you can ask me back. Isn't that the process of getting to know each other better?" Chenle suggests as I agreed to it.
"Nice. So, what school are you from?" He inquires.
"Hanlim Multi Arts School." I answered simply.
"Really? An arts school...sounds like something I'd like." His lips curved into a small smile.
I wondered about his statement for a bit, before I brushed it off.
I started to ask him a question I had always been curious about.
"You and your brother...what exactly is your relationship like at home with your parents?"
Chenle unknowingly squeezes Ha Eun's hand as she asks the question.
"Good question," He says, stopping in his tracks as we arrived at my apartment. "About me, they like to praise me a lot, I guess. I don't really like that. It almost feels like...our family is only business," Chenle's eyes dart to the ground.
"And as for Renjun..I can't say anything. You probably should ask him yourself." He smiles dryly as lets go of my hands.
"I see." I nodded thoughtfully. I pulled out my keys to open the door.
"See you soon, Ha Eun." Without another word nor glance at me, he slowly starts to walk away.
As I finally entered my house, my eyes caught sight of the beige coloured coat that was wrapped around me.
"Oh, I forgot to return it..." I murmur as I removed the coat was significantly larger than myself.
