Chenle tossed and turned in his comfy bed. Glancing at the calendar by the table, Renjun frowns.
14th feb.
So far, he hasn't heard his brother talk about his Valentine Day plans before.
Did he even make any, though?
Renjun gets up from the couch he sat on and approaches his younger brother, still tightly wrapped up in his sheets.
"Zhong Chenle!" He nudges him.
No response.
"Chenle!" This time, he shakes him awake. Chenle's eyes flick open in surprise.
"What is it, hyung?" He rubs his eyes as he slowly sits up in his bed.
"Don't you have any plans for today?"
"Today?" Chenle, still half asleep, murmurs.
"Yeah, Valentine's! You and Ha Eun." Renjun explains, somewhat in a disbelief.
"Oh." Chenle calmly replies as he gets off the bed.
"Oh?" His frown deepens. "What do you mean, oh?"
"Ha Eun and I decided to not have any plans." Chenle simply says, walking into the bathroom.
"You can't be serious."
"I am, hyung. Ha Eun agreed to it since she knows I'm busy in the afternoon. You know the restaurant is busy during Valentine's." Water runs from the open tap.
"What? But still–"
"It's fine. In the evening, Ha Eun's coming over. Mom wants to see her. We can spend time then."
"....Okay. Since it's your decision, I won't say anything more." Renjun's lips break into a smile as he realises how Chenle has matured.

"Wow." Ha Eun holds her breath as she sees the three-stories high mansion. It was nothing like she's ever seen before, and the mansion looked like it was one that came out from a drama.
"You think?" Chenle chuckles as he slides the glass door leading into his house.
"Yeah, it's my first time here. You live in a place like this?" Still flabbergast, Ha Eun glances in each and every direction.
"Yup. If you like it, you could come more often." Chenle smiles he observes her reaction.
Ha Eun's smile fades a tiny bit. "I guess it's really at times like this I feel the difference..."
She murmurs, but Chenle catches her saying it.Chenle breaks into a small smile. "The difference, you said?" He then interlocks their swinging arms. "There's no such thing."
"...You heard me?" Ha Eun smiles wryly. "But why?" The two stop by the staircase leading up to the bedrooms.
"Because everything of mine will be yours in the future." He says, and Ha Eun's cheeks start to burn.
"What the...what do you mean by that..." She manages to splutter.
Chenle's smile curved into a smug smirk. "Oh, you know, the day you get to live here forever."
"Where did you learn to say all this?" Ha Eun looks away, her cheeks a crimson red.
"I didn't learn them, though. I meant them." Chenle chuckles as they both begin to ascend the stairs.
"Chenle!" She exclaims, flustered.
He turns the door knob to his room halfway.
"Hold on, Ha Eun," Chenle reaches his fingers into his pocket. "Close your eyes first."
"Huh?" She cocks her head to a side.
"Do it." Chenle urges her.
Ha Eun blinks and reluctantly closes her eyes.
Soon after, she feels something cool and metallic brush against her skin.
"You can open them now." She hears his voice and does so.
"There, do you like it?" Chenle gestures. Ha Eun reaches her hand up to her neck and feels the same cool material she felt. She looks down at it with a gasp.
It was a pretty necklace with a shiny star in the middle. She recalled seeing a similar looking necklace when she went out on a date with Chenle before.
She doesn't realise it, but she smiles softly.
"I like it a lot."
"That's good. Happy Valentine's Day, Yoo Ha Eun," Chenle smiles and plants a quick kiss on her forehead. "And yes, I like you too."
