I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy. Asking him- Well I am a girl, and I am standing in front of a boy, but he is the one asking, not me. Besides, we're sitting. But that's not important. What's important is that, as soon as we reached Harry's house, he showed Ari a room where he does all his boxer shit and left him there, letting him entertain himself. While I was commanded to sit on the couch and answer his cross-questing as soon as he comes back. When he did, he stood in front of me, arms crossed over his chest, glaring at me like I killed his cat.
"So.." He said.
"So?" I asked, raising a brow. Yes I am capable of doing that.
"So are you gonna sit on your ass and not say anything?" He exasperatedly asked.
"Well, I don't know how to answer-" And I mimicked his accent, "'explain'."
He sighed and said, "Fine then. I'll ask you specific questions and you will answer them honestly. Okay?"
"What do I get in turn for that?" I asked him. I mean he doesn't have anything on me, why should I tell him something nobody other than me and Ari knows? Not that it's a plot-twisting secret and all but- why should I?
"I am the one providing you with a home here!" Why does he always has to mention points I don't think about? Damn.
"Eh okay. You have my permission, go on." I told him, only to get a jaw-clench from him.
"What's it with Ario?" He finally calmed himself down and asked me.
"He? well he isn't my brother."
"No shit!" He fake gasped. I gave him a straight face and carried on.
"I found him on the streets. He may be a 13 year old but he's smart. He found out he was homosexual and told his parents. They were homophobic bitches, so they kicked him out." I said and shrugged.
"Okay. So why is he again on the streets along with you?" He inquired raising his eyebrows. I knew this boy didn't have the talent to raise one brow.
"You talk a lot young boy. Well, I'm kinda rusticated. Not my fault though! It's all on Ari. And here goes my long story-
Actually, I'm an exchange student from India. I study art. I won an international scholarship and got an opportunity to study here, in London. I was in my second year when I found Ari. Since then he lived with me-"
"In your dorm?!" Harry said in shock and I nodded meekly.
"Eeee yeah. Remember the second time I was here for the autograph and stayed over? Ari was alone in the dorm then and he had to pee. I was not there to cover for him and he got caught, resulting in us being kicked out." I explained everything to him.
"So, you're supposed to share rooms right? Your room-mate didn't tell the authorities about Ari?" He asked.
"Um we, we may have scared them away and had no room-mate."
"I forgot it's you." He mumbled then asked, "So you must be okay in art but got nowhere to graduate from, so aren't you sad? Worried maybe?"
"I could've been both things, but what's the point? It won't give me any solution. I'll try talking to the uni but then I can't leave Ari. I will think of something, no worry." I said and smiled at him.
"I didn't think you were smart." He said sitting next me. "Are you going to tell your family?"
"Nop. I'll think of something. Maybe, I should give Ari to the government. They could find a loving foster home for him, where he'll be happier. While I-"
