My eyes fluttered open slowly and dazedly. I was still in the same position my head against Ayden's chest. He moved slightly when he realized I had awoken. There was no light on except for the occasional flash from the TV. I heard trickling water.

"Is it raining?" I asked groggily starting to wake up.

"Yes", I tilted my head back to stretch and it fell into the crook of his arm, he was now looking down at me in to my eyes and the flickering light from the TV made his face glow his eyes searching mine. I could not tell what his mood was. I smiled sleepily at him, a flash of light came from the window a few seconds, later rumbling thunder.

"And lightning," he smiled ever so slightly at my comment. I was so comfortable and at ease, "What time is it?" I added.

"A little past 4," he responded looking at the clock on my cable box. The only sound was the rain and thunder the TV was on its lowest volume, I couldn't hear it.

"I slept for almost 3 hours, and you didn't move at all!" I was surprised. He just kept gazing at me intently as my head rested in his arm. He was deciding on something. I just gazed back at him for a few minutes. I noticed his aversion to touching seemed to have disappeared.

"Thank you for staying," I commented politely.

"Anytime you want," his voice had taken on a deep husky tone and emotion and sensuality vibrated in the air around us. As if the lightning outside was in the room.

He lifted his other hand and brushed a lock of my hair out of my face, his touch sending chills through my body. I closed my eyes momentarily absorbing his touch as it lingered brushing my cheek. He took a soft breath. My heart was hammering at the affection and desire emulating between us. I felt that gravitational pull and we were leaning closer together, I could feel his breath less than an inch from my face now, his blazing brown eyes holding my gaze. Then his cool full lips pressed gently and softly against mine and my eyes fluttered shut.

I thought my head and heart would explode. The connection was made complete. I would never be torn away from him now. It felt as if a light began to blaze brighter than any star. His lips so soft against mine, I kissed him back, my body trembled under his grip around my waist with the sensations and current running through me and him. I kissed him deeper and we came apart for a split second, he whispered his voice heavy with passion,

"I love you, I have always loved you," and he pressed his lips back against mine. My mouth parted as his did and his scent engulfed me, my head began to spin. Both his hands moved to hold my face in them, my arms tighter around his neck and my hands tangled in his hair as he held me so gently. He pulled me closer to him our bodies pressed against each other and felt his strength pulsing through him at the intensity of the kiss. It felt as if the world had shifted and it was just us two alone together. He slowed and pulled away gently my lips on fire from his kiss and our breath coming heavily and rapid. He opened his eyes and looked at me longingly.

"I love you too," I whispered, my own voice husky and heavy from the strength of our emotions for each other. He kissed my forehead and brought me to him in an embrace. Lightning struck pretty close and a large thunder a few seconds after making me jump slightly.

"Now I am yours forever until you tell me otherwise," he said seriously, holding my hands and swirling his thumbs on my palm as he always does. More shivers shot through my body.

"I will always be yours Ayden," he leaned down and kissed me softly on the lips again one little one. Talk about a way of making it official, Wow. As reality came back into focus I noticed my stomach was growling.

"I guess I should get something to eat," I said reluctance in my voice. I was comfortable and did not want to get up.

"Of course," I got up regretfully and went into the kitchen, Ayden following me quietly. There was an air of pure happiness surrounding us, and a glow in his face and it made me smile goofily. He just watched silently as I made me some Chicken Alfredo.
