"Hey guys " Nico grinned, which, while it was nice to see him smile, looked a little eerie. Robin, and Batman couldn't place what it was that made it so... peculiar. That is, until they realized his eyes were coal black, the pupils barely visible, and their cold demeanor made his smile seem out of place.
"Uh..." Robin trailed.
"How did you figure it out?" Batman asked, seemingly tired.
"Dick didn't see me behind the couch when he came into here. I entered, but I didn't know about superheroes until I hacked the computer here, and read about them." Nico's smile dropped while he was talking, as he thought back to his new knowledge. Batman/Bruce would kick him out, or possibly even arrest him if he knew of Nico's powers.
"Why didn't you know about the Justice League?" Batman took off his cowl, revealing a concerned Bruce Wayne.
"I... don't know..." Nico said slowly, "The last thing I remember before waking up in the hospital was in 2015. I don't remember the specific day, but I remember a whole life in 2015. Every detail, except why, and how I'm here."
"Whoa backup..." Robin removed the domino mask from his face, "2015?!"
"Time travel." Bruce groaned, "Are you a speedster?"
"No...." Nico said slowly.
"Are you a metahuman?" Robin asked.
"I'm not sure how to answer that." Nico muttered.
"A metahuman is a human who was somehow evolved by an accident." Bruce explained. Nico shook his head.
"Are you an... alien?" Robin asked.
"No." Nico rolled his eyes, "I'm human." Mostly.
Bruce sighed, he could tell Nico wasn't telling the full truth, but he didn't press. So the trio went up to supper, where Alfred was cooking.
"So Nico," Dick asked, "Why were you behind the couch earlier?"
"I believe I can answer that question for Master Di Angelo." Alfred frowned, "I found the grapes I told him to eat in the living room trash can."
"You're anorexic." Bruce stated.
"I wouldn't call it that... it's more like a loss of will to eat...." Nico trailed off upon seeing their incredulous faces.
"He's anorexic." Dick sighed.
