CHAPTER 5
One Year Later...
As panic filled the park, and people were frozen left, and right, the source of the chaos laughed, and made short quips.
"Enjoying family time?" Dr. Victor Freeze grinned, "My family has other plans." He paused for a second, "Batman - I was wondering when you'd show up-" Robin laughed, as he and his brother, Moa, jumped out in perfect sync - just as they did everything.
"Oh, the birdies, Batman sent you here to drag me off to prison? Frankly, I'm underwhelmed." The man smirked.
"That's great, but..." Moa, started.
" kinda in a hurry here." Robin scoffed.
"Kids - always in such a rush." The villain taunted.
"Not talking to you." The two sing songed together. The Villain's smirk fell as he whipped around, and got knocked out by the infamous bat.
"Today's the day." Robin, and Moa grinned, despite the growing unease coming their instincts. Something was off, but they couldn't put their finger on it.

"I guess they were right about you three, you aren't ready." Roy growled, and stormed out of the room. Moa felt a tear roll down his cheek. Another person had left him. The league left to go on their mission, but Moa didn't notice, too wrapped up in his own mental torture. Bruce didn't trust him, and Roy was gone. Moa barely remembered numbly sitting in the chair, as KF accusations were registered in his brain.
"Moa?" Robin asked.
"Batman doesn't actually trust me." Moa looked up, tears welled up in his eyes, "And... And Roy left." KF's expression softened, and Aqualad frowned. KF turned to fill him in.
"Moa has seen most people in his life leave, and now he's adding Roy and possibly Batman to that list." KF whispered. Aqualad cringed, and Robin hugged Moa. Moa clutched tightly to Robin as his brother whispered soothing words into his ear.
"You still have me little bro, now and forever." He reassured.
"Dudes, you guys should stop soon, before the reporters think about you're gay." KF sing songed. Moa laughed, and Robin blushed.
"So, Moa, are you going to help us go prove to the league we can be heroes?" Robin asked with a smile.
"Let's do this." Moa grinned.
