It was another ordinary day in North Carolina sunny and a bit cold.

The wind bites at your ankles as you ride through your neighbourhood passing fancy house down to the normal priced. you glance around and see people walking dogs, getting the mail, young children playing catch or ball in their driveways or children riding on the bikes along the smooth pavement of the foot path.

your neighbourhood was quite friendly and quite the people were nice and friendly and every looked out for one another. It was quite safe and peacefully except for the occasional drop kick that messed up the neighboured but was kicked out eventually.

you ride past the usual house waving as you glide past the people smiling and waving at you. you were too busy watching the children playing with the dog to see a blonde girl run in front of my penny causing you to stop and fly off your penny.

you look up the street to see a boy sprinting towards you. looking back at the girl who's crossing the road but theres a car coming you jump off the ground and run and scoop her up saving her from getting hit but your when your backpack gets caught on the front of the car is pulls you back when you get the revision mirror in your side.

you wince at the pain but stumble to the footpath the girl still wrapped in your arms rocking her back and fourth and rub circles in her back she's settled and when you look up their a new pair of eyes watching you

"HAYES" the little girl scream you let go of her and she jumps into his arms you get up and instantly grab your injured side and grab the boys shoulder with your other free hand.

"We need to get you to the hospital beautiful" was he really hitting on me when I'm injured well he is cute..

"Okay" "Okay"

"Wait I never got your name?"

"It's Hayes"

"I like it mines (y/n)"

"If you like my name you should hear my phone number"

you giggled and exchanged numbers you pick up your penny and walk home holding your side the pain you were feeling has now been replaced by happiness. you continue to walk when you feel two hands on your waist that spins you around your faced with hayes' beautiful blue eyes "ow my side hurts".

"Let me kiss it better" he bends down and kisses your waist he stands up right looking for more injuries when he spots the cut on your lip. pressing his lips into yours and that one moment it was magical.
