Chapter 42

(Happy Halloween everyone, hope you're all having a good and safe day!)

Me: It's Halloween night baby, the night of your last punishment for the month.~

Black Hat: Okay, what do I have to do?

Me: Wait in the middle of the woods for a screaming girl. When she comes to you for help, kill her.

He looked at me with raised eye brows and set down his cup of tea on the kitchen table.

Black Hat: That's a odd punishment.

Me: Not for me it isn't.

Black Hat: Yeah, I kind of figured.

I grabbed his arm and forcefully pulled him into one of my cars with me driving to the entrance of the woods.

Me: Just wait for her, and when you do it, be ready. Don't go soft!

He got out of the car allowing me to close the door and looked back at me in curiosity.

Black Hat: Why would I go soft?

I kept a serious expression and stared deep into his eyes with a cold tone to my voice.

Me: If you love me like you so claim, you'll understand.

I rolled up the window and took off watching him blink before going into the forest from the back of the car window. It took a while, but the car finally pulled up to the front of Psyche's house. I got out ordering the driver to go home and broke my way into the gates once I made sure no one was looking. I walked in the shadows and watched Psyche from her window doing paper work of some kind. A smile formed on my face when I check my watch. 

11:40 PM

Me: Perfect.~

I went to the back of her house and disabled all her security alarms and camera before picking the lock to her door and walking straight inside. I snuck past her and hid behind the darkened stair well dialing her number on a newly brought cell phone. I stood there waiting as her phone rang, she woke up slowly and picked it up with a yawn.

Psyche: Hello?

Me: Hello bitch.

She snarled and sat up straight.

Psyche: Who the hell is this?

Me: I'm coming for you.

Psyche: Ugh do me a favor and never call-

Me: I see you on the couch Psyche.~

Her eyes widened and the color drained from her face. She gulped nervously and whispered under her breath.

Psyche: F-Freya....

Me: I'm in your house Psyche.

She looked around before she saw my glowing angry eyes from the shadows. She dropped her phone when I slowly came out and walked up to her with my knife in my hand. She backed up defenseless stupidly cornering herself by the wall.

Psyche: Stay away from me!

Me: Oh Psyche, haven't you watched any horror movies at all to see how this is gonna end?~

I swung at her multiple times slicing her skin slightly while she dodged the actual stabbing and ran out of the house and into the dark woods screaming loudly for help. I smiled putting my knife away and looked up at the clock.

11:56 PM

Me: Just as planned.~

I snuck out of the house and used my wings to fly swiftly through the forest unseen to Black Hat's location. I stood on a near by tree in the shadows waiting for the show to begin. It wasn't long before Psyche came screaming her lungs out crying rapidly. Black Hat looked surprised to see her, even though he should've known.

Black Hat: P-Psyche?!

Psyche: Black Hat!!

She ran up to him and hugged him tightly bawling her eyes out, he put a arm around her and looked down at her sadly as if remembering what I told him earlier.

Black Hat: What happened?

Psyche: T-that crazy b-bitch Freya broke into my h-house and tried to kill m-me! Y-you gotta protect me! Please!

She sniffed and looked up at him with pleading eyes, Black Hat looked down at her trying not to show any type of emotion to her. He bowed his head to hide his eyes under his hat and pushed her off.

Black Hat: No, I won't protect you.

Psyche: Wh-what?

Black Hat: I said I won't protect you, you deserve what's coming to you.

She looked taken back, her mood changed from scared to angry.

Psyche: Y-you asshole! How could you? I gave you everything she couldn't!

Black Hat: I already told you, we were a mistake, I love Freya. I want to be with no one other than Freya.

Psyche: I-I didn't think we were a mistake....

She looked down when Black Hat went up to her and rested his hand on her shoulder. He leaned over her and whispered in her ear.

Black Hat: I'm... sorry....

Spikes instantly popped out of the ground and pierced her body sharply. Red blood splattered everywhere as she let out one last painful scream and slid down the spike choking on the blood coming up from her throat. I flew down with a pleased smile on my face and jumped into Black Hat's arms kissing him wildly in front of her.

Me: I love you.

Black Hat: I love you to.

He set me down and moved my hair out of my face making me blush. I looked back down at Psyche who was crying silently.

Me: Hey look, I'm sorry it has to be this way old friend. But hey, think of it this way, if I ever die I'll see you in hell. Maybe then I'll forgive you for what you've done. As of now, Happy Halloween Psyche.

I held Black Hat's hand and walked with him through the now foggy forest and back out to civilization where all the people were. I looked up at him, he seemed upset.

Me: What's wrong?

Black Hat: Uh, n-nothing.

Me: Spill it.

Black Hat: W-well I... uh....

He sighed and pulled me into a bone crushing hug stroking my hair.

Black Hat: I'm sorry about everything.

I smiled putting my arms around him to.

Me: I forgive you.

He happily looked at me and kissed my cheek.

Me: Hey, kids are still out. Let's see if we can scare them.~

Black Hat: Sounds fun.

I giggled pulling him along with me to the alley way, I finally feel relaxed knowing the threat is gone for good.
