Chapter Three

" Listen to me Mandy we have about sixty seconds until this car burst into flames I'm going to help you put your hands on the roof I'm going to get you out" A worried Nathan spoke

" I'D RATHER DIE THAN LET YOU ANYWHERE NEAR ME " Mandy spat back full of hate for the immortal Nathan that was trying to help her out of the up turned car

24 hours earlier........

The day was sunny it was the last of the school term The Pale Faces had attended school everyday blended into the crowd it had been over two weeks since they last killed anybody and they was now surviving on Blood bags that Nathan had retrived from the hospital the two people previously killed had sparked the towns people to hunt down who the Vampires was they was a local search backed by the mayor and a cash reward if anybody could identify the Vampires.

But Nathan Teaa Mirka Kent and Roza was clever they knew they would never be suspected now they walked in the sun as far as the town or the mayor knew they was just five brothers and sisters who lived alone in the old boarding house in the woods.

The bell rang in the last lesson to indicate the summer holidays all the kids started running a happy time.

" WALK PLEASE" A frustrated teacher shouted as the kids from the high school ran excitedly 

Nathan hung back 

" Hey you ok " Roza whispered from across the room and Nathans Vampire hearing detected it

" Fine have something I need to do keep the other 3 on best behiviour I'll meet you at home" Nathan whispered back and Roza nodded from across the room

Soon the classroom was empty only Nathan and the teacher

" Well didn't expect you to still be here come on Nathan I would like to go start my holiday too you know" Laughed the teacher and as she turned her back putting books into her bag and turned back Nathan was in front of her

" What do you know about the Mayor" Nathan compelled information out of her

Under his Compulsion the teacher answered " He has a daughter named Mandy he is a powerfull man he wants the towns Vampires steaked through the heart and he will stop at nothing until he gets his way" The teacher replied in a trance like state

" Does he suspect anybody does he suspect me and my brothers and sisters" Nathan asked again

" No" Replied the teacher still under Nathans Compulsion

" Then forget we ever had this conversation" Nathan replied zooming out of the room at Vampire speed

And then stopped halfway down the corridoor the Mayor and a girl with dark black hair was walking up the corridoor

Nathan knew this was the perfect opportunity.

" Mayor Lockwood isn't it Hi I don't think we have met I am Nathan James Greyson" Nathan extended his hand reveling his daylight ring and the mayor caught a glimpse of it

The skeptical mayor shook Nathans hand but he was cautious " Nice to meet you Nathan " The mayor replied 

" And you must be" Nathan evertead his gaze to the mayor daughter

" Mandy" The girl replied with a smile 

" Mandy sweetheart why don't you go see your teacher I'll catch you up" The mayor smiled at his daughter who smiled back unaware of what was happening.
