Chapter Eight

It had been four days and Mandy was still locked in the dungeon under the Vampires boarding house she had been starving herself refusing to drink Blood despite everyone's best efforts.

" Nathan you do realize what will happen if she does not feed her body will shut down and she will die" Tea spoke concerned 

" Why would she want to live " Kent said entering the room and drinking some O blood from a glass

" Whats that suppose to mean " Nathan snapped his eyes getting angry

" You killed her Farther her boyfriend Roza turned her why would she want to be tortured anymore " He simply replied placing the empty glass down and leaving the room.

" He is right " Teaaa agreed and also left

Nathan knew Kent and Teaaa was right they was always right they took more time to process choices and decisions where as Roza Nathan and Mirka acted on impulse with no regard to the cost.

Nathan entered his study 

" What are you doing " He asked Mirka and Roza who was dressed up 

" We are going out partying " Roza said applying eye liner in the mirror

" No humans dont kill anyone " Nathan simply replied 

Mirka rolled her eyes at Roza and they nodded and left.

Nathan sat at the desk study he knew he had a long way to go to ever make Mandy trust him again and he knew he had done terrible things but he had to try.

He opened the chest freezer and took out two Blood bags and walked down to the Dungeon

He turned the key in the door and closed it behind him.

Mandy was sat in the corner staring at the wall.

" Go away " She spoke her voice merely a whisper

Nathan walked and sat beside her on the floor.

" No " He replied his voice low

" You'll die " He said to Mandy in a soft tone

Mandy laughed " Die I all ready died when she turned me I died the day you came into my life the day you ruined my life " She said and her eyes looked at the Blood bags

" I know you are hungry " Nathan said offering her the Blood bags

Mandy's eyes scanned the Blood bags and she gulped.

" No If dying is what it takes to get away from you I would ather die " She said running her fingers through her hair.

The words Nathan spoke next made her Red eyes snap to his.

" I am sorry " Nathan said 

" W..What " She said her eyes locked with Nathans 

" I am sorry for your Farther for your boyfriend for everything I have done to you " Nathan moved his hand and placed it on Mandy's 

" I am sorry " He said again his words meaningful and soft

Mandy found herself moving to sit closer to Nathan not by choice like a moth to a flame she was drew in by his scent of Mint mixed with Vanilla

When she realized she moved back.

" Mandy " Nathan Questioned and she stood up and ran her fingers over her hair

She punched the cell wall a full force causing the concrete to break a little.

Her hand healed instantly.

" WHY WHY DO YOU DO IT WHY DO YOU KEEP ME LOCKED UP IN HERE LIKE SOME PRISONER" She screamed 

Nathan stood up and walked over to Mandy " You are a newly transitioned Vampire I am looking out for you " Nathan placed his hands on Mandy's shoulders

" Are you insane looking out for me you your crazy than I thought " She half laughed 

" You killed 3 people you was unstable out there what was I suppose to do let you murder the town" Nathan asked his tone getting more annoyed

" You was suppose to let me live a normal life not snap my Fathers or my boyfriends neck" Mandy screamed 

" I couldn't " Nathan simply replied

" WHY " She screamed 

" BECAUSE I COULDN'T I DO NT KNOW WHY I CANT KEEP AWAY FROM YOU " Nathan screamed and Mandy's face dropped

" W..What do you mean " She asked did she really want to know the answer? 

" The first day I saw you I don't know something clicked it was " Nathan was cut off

" Don't you dare" She said walking over to Nathan her fists clenched

" don't say you did this for me" She continued

Nathan eyes found the wall he avoided eye contact with Mandy.

" WELL " She screamed 

" I..I have to go " Nathan said standing up and pacing to the door 

Mandy zoomed at the side of Nathan and spun him around and gasped.

He was sobbing tears streaming down his face.

" N..Nathan " She spoke her voice now soft 

" I am sorry here go go on go be free get as far away from me as you can I am a poison I will ruin you " Nathan said opening the dungeon door 

" No " Mandy replied taking a step closer to him

" You can go you are free I will let you go I am truly sorr" He was cut off

Mandy crashed her lips onto Nathans and Nathan pulled away surprised

" What was that for " He asked confused

She walked and picked up the Blood bags and drank the two of them.

" I don't want to go you have done terrible things to me and I hate you but I am drawn to you I will stay here " Mandy spoke and Nathans lips quirked up into a half smile

" B..But why " He asked

" Because I am going to help you help take back this town after all I will be the mayor we can do this" Mandy spoke smiling

" Thank you.. I" Nathan began 

" Shhh stop talking" Mandy replied and took Nathans hand and they walked out of the dungeon.

Kents pov......

I don't think I have ever been prouder of my brother right now I heard everything they just spoke about from outside the dungeon with my Vampire hearing he is changing she is changing him as they walk past me I smile at them both.

" You eavesdropping too " Teaaa replies laughing at me

" you heard all that " I ask Teaaa and she nods.
