Prologue: What happened to the world?

It was about 80 hundred years ago, give or take some, that's when they say our world began to fall apart. Around the year 2045, or at least that's when they say it was. I wasn't alive then, so I wouldn't know. I don't know much of it other than what the elders' taught us. They said that that about 25 years before the chaos, the world was in peace and harmony, most world problems had been solved, and the world was getting advanced, or whatever any of that means.

We live in the shadows, among the androids. Hiding from whatever could be left behind from the war. The elders said that before the "Storm of Chaos", then, humans were higher than androids, but eventually they learned to live equally, and even aided us in the midst of the chaos. As you can see that didn't help much.

Since I could remember the elders had taken care of me. I see that other kids then had parents, but it didn't really bother me. I'm mostly self trained, the elders had taught me a few tricks here and there, but I've honed my abilities on my own. Most children were taught how to use guns and/or blades to protect our selves, and to be prepared for what may come. As I became older, I'd joined in battles to protect the town. Sometimes we'd find creature lurking around the village, some seemed to be some sort of thing in armor, those were rare, others were parasitic infested creatures, left here from the war. I fought along-side older men in our town, and after a while it got boring. I wanted to know what's beyond the walls of out town, and understand why our world is really like this, so started looking outside of my home town, adventuring into the unknown. And that is where my adventure, my story began.
