Chapter 8 The Ballad Of Roget

Zuzu Boyle's POV

The way into Roget's place was like a maze. You have so many rooms and don't which one the person you're looking for is there. It's just in the movie Labrynth where finding your baby is hard inside a labrynth itself. Angie just held my hand while being behind me "Angie, how did you find Roget exactly?" I asked. Angie just stared like a hawk "I don't know exactly" she answered.

We found some women office outfits in a closet and got dressed. I just took a red one and some glasses while Angie has a purple jacket and white blouse underneath it with some indigo skirt "you know, that jacket looks good on you" I complimented. She just said nothing as she putted her disguise on. Geez what's wrong on getting a compliment? Or did I say something wrong?

Our next part was finding the cell chamber. We can find Yuya there, but when we passed a room, Angie tapped on my shoulder "what?" I asked. She pointed to what's inside the room...actually it's more of a who...cause Roget's in there.

"That's him Zuzu, that's the guy" Angie said pointing to Roget who was at the desk doing some paperwork "yeah I know him, I see him on TV almost all the time" I said. Angie nodded only once getting my point as she went in there "Angie what are you doing?" I asked quietly "maybe if we can make Roget confess that he has Yuya, then we'll know where he is" Angie wispeared as she headed in. All I could do was follow her. 

We hid behind a cabnit as we saw him more closer when a offie woman came in "Mr. Roget, 3/4 of the wedding preperations are complete" the woman said. Wait what wedding? Is Roget getting married? I turned to Angie waiting for an answer "yeah about that, Roget is marrying one of his employies, I ran into that" she explianed. Oh really, a marrige? Never saw that coming. Wonder what he has in store for Yuya though.

Roget just finished his last paper when an officer came in "so then, the report on how much progress we made" Roget said to the officer "we got everything in arranged. The last thing is the invitations, but some of us wanted to know if you're goint invite your father" the officer said. Roget just looked at him like he was completely confused on something "my who?" he asked. "Your father, sir" the officer replied.

His father? I never thought he would talk about his own father. Yusho never said anything about Roget's own father too "you mean that wretched man who left me to die. That man who ruined my childhood life!" he yelled out with rage. I have never seen him like this, maybe it has something to do with this guy "well he must have his reasons" the officer said "don't be that way" Roget said "I'll never forgive that man for what he did, nor do I want to forget the way my chilhood that scared me" he said. I wonder what happened.

Roget: My daddy was a miner so he wasn't much around. Foraging for diamonds, a life spent underground. Daddy didn't talk much, he barely said hello. He'd simply mutter "heigh ho" and off to work he go. Daddy was grumpy.

My momma was a princess who left her crown behind. Daddy was her true love so momma didn't mind. I never knew my momma, but she could've been a queen. She married way beneath her. Beneath her knee, I mean, oh

Daddy's bed was lumpy so Momma wouldn't sleep. Daddy built a new one, so tall and so steep. 25 mattresses she slept upon. One night she rolled over, and Momma was gone. So Daddy was grumpy!

Me and my old man, a tale as old as dirt. A bitter distant father in a tiny undershirt. Daddy up and left me, left me good as dead. Now he lives in squalor, sleeping seven to a bed

(Spoken) Oh if only you could see me now Daddy. I'd invite you to the wedding, but you have to be this tall to get in. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

My bride to be is gorgeous, her wedding dress, designer. The guest list will be major, without a minor miner.

Officer and woman: Fa la la la la la la la

Roget: Packs of royal lackeys playing violin

Officer and woman: Strings of royal underlings

Roget: Who will not let you in. Ah ha ha ha ha ha. Tricked out carriage, twenty stallions, with a coachman named Raoul. Big reception with a boy band, and a royal DJ by the pool.

Yes, I can see my future and so it shall be done. It's total domination with some torture just for fun. Cause I will have a wedding, and I will have a queen. Once I get that crown on, you get the guillotine. 

And I'll punish you, Daddy cause I'm all grown up. And bigger than you'll ever know. You're gonna pay Daddy, it's any day Daddy. I'm off to work. Heigh Ho!

After that I almost felt awful for the guy, but I know that he has became a monster and can't be turned back to the good. He has Yuya and obviously won't go down without a fight. Angie leaned a little closer before she sneezed due to the dust getting to her nose which caused the both of us to topple down onto the floor. I hope that didn't get us noticed.

"Well what do we have here?" Too late.

We look up to see Roget leaning down looking at us with a malicious smile on his face "Zuzu Boyle, am I right? I didn't noticed at all with those glasses" he said to us. My glasses! He can tell without these glasses! And how did he know my name? "H-how did y-you know my name? A-and would you please give us some space!" I yelled. Angie got off of me and rolled a little away from Roget "and this Angelica girl is with you, my guess is she knows your other sisters" Roget replied. Angie just clinched her fists and bit her lips "listen here Roget, I have questions for you. And you better answer them" I said.

Roget just ignored Angie and glanced at me with my determined look on my face "very well miss Boyle. Tell me, what do you want?" He asked. That's it, he just wants me to answer? This might be easy after all "well then, where's Yuya?" I asked. He just looked at like he didn't care, what is he planning? "Yuya? As in Yuya Sakaki?" he asked. Oh, nice try, but you just gave it away already "yeah, we know you abducted him from the docks yesterday, Yusho knows that. And don't try to deny it" I said.

He's giving me the look where I'm sounding ridiculous, but soon he started smiling like a bad guy. That is almost giving the creeps "really, I admit that I snatched him, but it's for the greater good" he said. Aha! He admitted he abducted Yuya, but for the greater good? What's up with that? "What do you mean by the greater good? You kidnapped our friend" I asked. He leaned a little closer to me which is starting to creep me out even more.

"I have seen the world of high school. He has been suffering due to being the guy that all the girls wanting to have him as their mate. Yuya has been having that deep inside and I freed him from that anxiety" he said "And to help the anxiety fade away, he won't be leaving my side"

Won't be leaving his side? Roget plans to keep Yuya isolated because many tried to have him theirselves? That doesn't sound ok. I noticed Angie getting on her feet "that's ridiculous! You can't keep him trapped forever, it's completely different to being homeschooled" Angie yelled out behind him. Roget didn't seem to care as he went to his desk "I would like to talk more with you, but I have a busy schedule so goodbye" he said before pressing something on the button panel on his desk.

Me and Angie felt something on the floor we were standing on disappear and look down to see a hole. And we fell in that hole of darkness and despair.
