Oliver Thredson is smoking, sitting in his car. He is observed the Manchester primary school across the street. Children run around in the schoolyard. Some cries, others laugh and have fun. On a bench, he sees a little brunette girl with glasses, all alone. She watches the others play and have fun, but she does not seem determined to join them. She seems sad. But he would recognize that face between a thousand and he already knows it's Lily.

Indeed, he finally managed to find the trace of Hayden. After a year of research, his determination finally pays off. He smiles to himself, satisfied. He saw Hayden drop Lily at school this morning, he recognized her long red hair. And it was not intentional but she saw him and her reaction to escape amused him. She seemed completely panicked.

He knows that she has opened the coffee shop not far from school, but he is disappointed that she has resigned herself to this kind of work, she is capable of so much more and she is so intelligent. Serve coffee puts her down so much. He was almost pissed off when he learned this information. He also knows where she lives, and the fact that she is in shared with this hottie does not like him either. This girl will make it difficult for him, he will not be able to visit Hayden when he wants. And the influence she must have on his wife is somewhat anguish.

When he went to the coffee shop this morning, he knew he would fall on her. When he spoke of Hayden, this uneducated girl maintained that Hayden did not know him and that if she did, she would have told her about it. That she almost never had men in her life. But by dint of insisting and glaring at her, she said she would send her the message. He is surprised by her determination to get him out of her life.

His thoughts turning back to the little girl alone on the bench, he decides to get out of his car. He crushes his cigarette on the ground with the tip of his foot and crosses the road to get to the gates of the school. Lily is only a few meters from him. He smiles.

"It looks like your father when he was also in school,"

Lily turns her head and her eyes light up when she realizes that the person who has just spoken is her father. She runs to the gate and puts her hands on the bars. Oliver crouches to be at her height. He feels the emotion invade him to finally see her before him, his daughter, his blood. He caresses her cheek with the back of his hand gently.

"Hello my princess,"

"Daddy!" she exclaims, her eyes wet. "I knew you will come back!"

"Of course, remember the promise I made to you,"

"But you didn't hold it," she said sadly. "You weren't here anymore."

"Your mother didn't give me the choice, she took you without asking my opinion,"

"The most important thing is that you're here now," she said with a smile. She puts her little hand in his.

"Don't you play with others?" he asks, nodding at the children in the schoolyard.

Lily turns her head to look at them and shrugs as she looks at her father again. "No, I find them stupid, I prefer to be alone."

Oliver smiles at this remark, she's like him. He understands her better than anyone. When he was younger, he could not stand other children, he felt different, smarter and he was often laughed at for that reason.

"Listen, I would like you to tell your mother that I can't wait to finally find her and spend time with her, we have so much to tell each other."

"But you can tell her tonight at home," Lily said with a smile. He feels his heart beating at the thought of telling her he can not go home yet.

"I'm not coming home tonight, sweeheart, but I promise you I'll be by your side sooner than you think."

"Okay, I hope so...," Lily said, disappointed. Oliver hears Lily's teacher calling her. He looks at his daughter and caresses her cheek.

"Come on, go, I don't want you to get in trouble because of me,"

"Okay, I love you Daddy," Lily said, reluctantly releasing his hand.

"Me too, sweetheart," he answers as she slowly walks away to enter the school.

It is 6 pm and Oliver has just returned home. He puts his briefcase on the floor near the front door and walks to the living room. He takes off his trench coat and his suit jacket, he puts them on the couch with a sigh. He uses a whiskey and sits on the couch. He takes off his glasses, which he puts on the coffee table. He takes a sip of his drink and rest his head against the couch. He can finally relax.

The day was long, making the drive to Manchester every day is tiring, but to see his daughter and find Hayden, it's worth it. On top of that, he has to add up his long days of work to his office. But he is stubborn and will stop at nothing for Hayden to be with him again.

He smiles, imagining in what state of panic she must be at the moment. Now that she knows he's going to find her, she's going to live in paranoia. And the most delicious is to imagine her reaction when she learns that he has spoken to Lily.

He finishes his glass and places it on the coffee table. He then lights a cigarette and walks to the basement door. He turns on the light and goes down the stairs quietly, pulling on his cigarette. He looks at the young woman lying naked in the bed facing him. She should soon wake up. He approaches and caresses the skin of her arm. She's not as sweet as hers, but it'll do the trick. Once she has applied her body cream, her skin will be as soft and fragrant as hers. Everything will be perfect.

He looks at the face peacefully asleep in front of him, her red hair spread across the pillow. She looks like her, the only difference is her blue eyes. Jodie Winston, his secretary. He thought he was dreaming when he saw her enter the office the first time while looking for work. The resemblance was so striking. He hired her in his office, not for her talents, but for what he could do with her. She does not have a family, a boyfriend, which made the task even easier. Nobody will care about her.

Yes, she will do the job in the meantime. Oliver hears moans, Jodie slowly opens her eyes. She blinks quickly, probably trying to remember what happened. When her eyes rest on Oliver, she frowns.

"Dr. Thredson? What is... What am I doing here? W-What has happened?"

He smiles, "You are at my home."

"I don't remember anything, I don't feel very well...,"

"The effects of the drug will fade quickly," he says.

"Drug? Y-You drugged me?"

"You'll stay with me," Oliver said without worrying about her shocked look. "I feel terribly alone and I need to fill that gap, and this time we'll never leave each other again."

"I-I don't understand, Dr. Thredson, you make me...,"

"We'll be happy, you'll see," he interrupts as he sits down on the bed next to her, one hand on her cheek. "We will be as happy as before, I will not make the same mistakes."

Jodie's eyes widen, he sees tears begin to flow down her rosy cheeks. He caresses her cheek, imagining her sweetness, imagining her. He runs a hand through her red hair and twists a few locks. He approaches his face with hers, his cheek against hers. He breathes deeply, his eyes closed.

"Everything will be as before," he says.

He moves his face away from hers to look at her. She cries, realizing surely that she can not get out of here. He runs a hand gently across her face, as if analyzing each parcel. He approaches his face again, their lips a few inches apart, his black eyes staring at her blue eyes and he smiles.

"Hayden..."
