"Ta'Shae POV "

"I think that's the last of it" Raje' said dusting his hands off.

"I'm going to miss it here" I said looking at my house. I grew a lot of memories on this street alone.

"Bring your sap ass on " Raje' laughed picking up Akil as he ran to him.

"Looks like he likes you" I shook my head. 

"This my little man" he said with a big ass smile on his face.

"Wait let me take them to see Nick " I said taking Akil out his arms.

"Who the hell is Nick "he questioned.

"My next door neighbor, babysitter, and male Bestfriend. " I shot back at him.

"If he's your babysitter why the hell nephews were in that strip club last night?" he interrogated once again.

"He had a studio session , he's an artist trying to  be found " I answered..... again.

"mhm okay go ahead I'll wait in the truck " he said finally letting me go. I take the boys by their hands and walk over to Nick' s house so they can say their goodbyes. I knock on the door and he steps out. He looked like he was finna go out.

"Sup Shae " he said looking down.  before I could respond Khalil and Akil let go of my hands and ran up to him. 

"Nick!"  they both screamed. He kneeled down so he'll be eye level.

"Wassup lil man" he said dapping them both up like they were homeboys.

"Wanna come to Atlantis " Khalil shouted with excitement.

"I wish but I don't think that what your mom wants " he said sincerely as he stood up looking dead in my eye.

"Nick I'm sorry bu-"

"I already know, I'm going to miss you though" he said cutting me off.

"I will miss you too " I responded looking down wondering what would happen if I gave him a chance.

"Khalil! Akil! , Let your mamma speak " Raje' yelled towards them noticing the conversation between Nick and I was getting serious. nosey ass. The twins gave Nick one last but then ran toward their uncle.

" Is that their daddy"  Nick asked breaking the silence.

"No his twin brother, me and their father aren't on good terms. " I responded being truthful.

"What happened" he said digging deeper into the feelings I've been trying to hide. Once he saw the tears forming in my eyes he pulled me into a hug and I broke down.

"I'm sorry I asked but the kids need to know their father " he said.

"yea I know " I sniffled. "part of the reason why I'm going back to Atlanta,  so I can be closer"

"Well keep in touch aight " he said letting me go. oh how I yearn for him to hold me again

" Fasho' " I laughed wiping the tears away. I walked back towards Raje.

"You ready " I say.

"Hell Yea let's go "

I strap the boys in the backseat. As soon as I start the car up they started chanting.

"Lion King! Lion King! Lion King! " That's their favorite movie and my car has a dvd player so I put it on . I was ready to pull of but I remembered Raje' don't know where the hell he going.  I walk up to the moving truck and look through the window.
