Prologue
Pound. Pound. Pound. I ran. It was all going by so slow. But it was so fast at the same time. All I could think was "I need to get to him... I have to get there. I have to be at his side. I burst theough the doors. He lay covered in blood just barely conscious. I pushed the swarm of doctors away.
I could barely look at him. I almost colapsed at the sight. But I had to be strong for him. He has to get better. He has to. I held his near lifeless hand.
"I love you." He coughed.
" I love you too. Please get better for our child." I wimpered. He looked at me with confusion. I moved his hand to stomach and knodded. He began to cry and thats when the sirens rang. They rang rang rang. And I fell to the floor. I know I just lost the father to my unborn child, my husband and the love of my life.
