Chapter 4 The Jerks/ The Mark

The next morning Dottie woke up and realized that both she and Blaze slept together on her couch. When she realized that she felt her heart start to beat fast and her face turned bright red. *OH MY IRENE! I SLEPT WITH BLAZE ON THE COUCH ALL NIGHT!!* Dottie screamed in her head. Then Blaze woke up and yawned, after that he realized that he slept with Dottie on the couch at her house and his face turned bright red as well. "Um, m-morning Blaze." Dottie said nervously, "M-morning Dottie." Blaze said nervously in response. After both Dottie and Blaze got off the couch they decided to eat breakfast together. "Dottie, I can make us some breakfast while you get changed." said Blaze, "Thanks, Blaze that's really sweet of you." said Dottie. When Dottie left to her room Blaze went into the kitchen and thought about what he should make for breakfast for him and Dottie. "Let's see here. What should I make for me and Dottie to eat for breakfast?" Blaze asked himself, then he got an idea so he made fried eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice for the both of them.

DOTTIE'S POV:
After Dottie went to her bedroom to get changed into fresh clothes she smelled the scent of fried eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice in the air. "I guess Blaze made us breakfast." said Dottie. Once she got changed Dottie went to the dining room and was amazed with what Blaze did for the both of them.

BOTH BLAZE'S & DOTTIE'S POV:
When Blaze saw Dottie he smiled at her and gave her a hug. "Breakfast is served." said Blaze, Dottie laughed and gave Blaze a kiss on his cheek. "You're really sweet Blaze." said Dottie, then they both sat down and ate breakfast together. While they were eating breakfast Dottie's tail touched Blaze's tail. When Blaze felt Dottie's tail touch his own he started blushing bright red. When Dottie looked at Blaze she noticed that he was blushing. "Blaze, why are you blushing?" asked Dottie, "N-no reason. It's just that... Y-your tail is t-touching mine." Blaze said nervously. When Dottie saw that her tail was touching Blaze's tail she turned bright red as well.

After they finished eating breakfast Blaze helped Dottie take care of the dishes. While they were doing that Blaze thought he should turn on some music while they were cleaning the dishes. "Hey, Dottie. If you want, I can turn on some music." said Blaze, "I would love that Blaze." said Dottie. So Blaze turned his phone on and looked through his playlist and found a song that both he and Dottie liked.

When Dottie heard the song she smiled and started to dance to the music. *Wow, she's a great dancer.* Blaze thought to himself. Then he started dancing with Dottie and they both created their dance to go with the song.
After they finished dancing both Blaze and Dottie decided to get ready to go to their college. "If you want, I can give you a ride there Dottie." Blaze said, "I would like that. Thanks, Blaze." said Dottie. Once they got their stuff they went to their college for their morning classes. "I'll see you later Dottie. I have engineering class in a few minutes." said Blaze, "Okay Blaze. I'll see you later then." said Dottie.

DOTTIE'S POV:
After Blaze left to get to his engineering class Dottie started walking to her art class. While she was walking to her class she ran into Rylan. "Hey, Rylan." said Dottie, "Oh, hey Dottie. How are you?" asked Rylan, "I'm doing good. You?" she replied. "I'm doing okay. I'm still nervous about talking to June." said Rylan.

TIME SKIP AFTER CLASS END OF THE SCHOOL DAY FOR THE COLLEGE STUDENTS
After their classes Dottie went to meet Blaze when she was stopped by two guys. "Hey there pretty girl. Want to go out with us?" asked one of them in a mischievous way. "No thanks. I'd rather go out with a Meif~Wa than you clowns." said Dottie, "What did you just call us you stupid freak?" asked the other guy then they grabbed Dottie by her arms and dragged her into an empty room and started beating her up. "Think you can talk to us like that huh? Go on say that again you freak." they said together and they continued to beat Dottie up. "Come on you freak give us a scream." said the guy kicking Dottie in her stomach repeatedly. That's when Dottie screamed in pain and started crying.

BLAZE'S POV
While Blaze was walking to his car to meet Dottie he saw two guys drag Dottie into an empty room so he followed them and saw them hurting Dottie. "Come on you freak give us a scream." said the guy kicking Dottie in her stomach repeatedly. When Dottie started to cry Blaze became enraged and broke the doors down and surprised the two guys and threw them both out of a window. "AND DON'T LET ME CATCH YOU HURTING MY FRIEND EVER AGAIN!" yelled Blaze. Then Blaze walked back to Dottie and picked her up.

DOTTIE'S POV:
Before Dottie blacked out from the pain she saw Blaze throw the two guys who were hurting her out of a window. Then she felt Blaze pick her up and started carrying her to his car. After that she finally blacked out from all the pain she was in because of those jerks.

BLAZE'S POV:
Once Blaze got to his car he opened the back passenger side door and carefully laid Dottie down on the seat. Once he made sure that Dottie was comfortable he got in the drivers seat and headed to his house so he could patch Dottie's injuries up. While he was driving Blaze turned on some relaxing music to help Dottie feel safe, even though she's blacked out. "I can't believe those jerks hurt Dottie." Blaze whispered to himself. "If I ever see them again I'll make sure that they wished that they were never born." he added. Then Blaze heard Dottie starting to whimper in a very painful scared way. "Dottie, if you can hear me I want you to know that I'm here for you. And I'll always be there to protect you." said Blaze. When he said that Dottie stopped whimpering and that's when Blaze realized that Dottie can hear him.

After several hours of driving Blaze reached his house and parked his car in his garage. Once Blaze got out of his car he picked up Dottie and carried her inside his house. "Mm." groaned Dottie, "Dottie it's alright." Blaze said, Dottie opened her eyes and saw Blaze carrying her into his house. "B-Blaze? H-how'd I g-get here?" Dottie asked painfully, "Don't try to talk right now alright. I brought you here so I could patch you up." Blaze said in response. Dottie nodded her head and leaned her head against Blaze's chest. *Blaze, I feel safe when I'm with you.* Dottie thought to herself. When Blaze put Dottie on his couch he went to the bathroom and brought his first-aid kit. "Um, D-Dottie, I n-need to ch-check y-your stomach t-to see how b-bad it is." Blaze said nervously and his face turned beat red. When Dottie heard what Blaze said her face turned beat red as well. She nodded her head and rolled her shirt up so that Blaze could patch her up. While Blaze was wrapping the bandage around Dottie's stomach Dottie felt a sharp pain and Blaze must have realized that Dottie felt a sharp pain because he finished wrapping the bandage around Dottie's stomach and said "I'm sorry. Did I hurt you Dottie?" he asked, "No you didn't. It's just my stomach that hurts." Dottie said. After a while Blaze sat down next to Dottie and made her feel safe. *M-maybe I can ask Blaze to mark me as his mate.* Dottie thought to herself. "H-hey Blaze." said Dottie, "Yeah, what's wrong Dottie?" Blaze asked. "Nothings wrong. I just... I want you to mark me." said Dottie then her face turned bright red. "A-are you sure Dottie? I don't want to hurt you." Blaze said in response. "Yeah I'm sure." said Dottie, "Okay." said Blaze, Dottie moved her hair away from her neck and Blaze sunk his fangs into Dottie's neck. Dottie bit her lip so she wouldn't scream, then Blaze let go of her neck and licked the mark he left on her neck and his name appeared on Dottie's neck. "Now I'm your mate Blaze. And nobody can ever change that." said Dottie, Blaze smiled and allowed Dottie to lay her head against his chest. Pretty soon Dottie fell asleep and Blaze pulled out a blanket and laid it on him and Dottie and Blaze fell asleep with Dottie laying on his chest.
