Pyro (Lumine various x reader)

Chapter 4

(Kody's POV)
I was sitting down in silence reading a book, (Y/N) dozing off on the floor a few feet away from me. I notice (Y/N) perk up all of the sudden, so I lift my head up a bit, staring at her. " what about Lumine? He's probably looking for you." she looks at me with a uneasy expression on her face. "I mean, you're here, right? You're one of my bodyguards, right? Need I say more?" "Yeah, I guess you're right.." she murmurs.
After a few seconds, she comes over to me and stares at my face. She stares for what felt like hours until I grow annoyed. "What?" "You do know there is a cat on your shoulder, right? I mean, it isn't really a cat, but like, a ghost or something. I don't know..." my eyes widen for a second. "I don't know what you're talking about. Now if you don't mind, I will go back to reading." I ignore her, and continue reading my book, which isn't even that good.
I started getting up, which startled (Y/N) since she was sleeping on my shoulder. I haven't even acknowledged that she was there until I got up. I headed for the basement since I was getting bored, and of course, (Y/N) started following.

(Lumine's POV)
"To just be Kody's bodyguard huh... easier said than done... I can't even find him... I even checked the attic this time." I sigh, sitting on the stairs leading to the headquarter. I look down at my necklace. I couldn't even find Kody... I'm not suitable for this.
KABOOM!!!
"W-What was that?" I think I jumped ten feet in the air, and landed on my feet. It sounded like it came from the other side of the building.
When I reach the other side, I notice that there is a cellar, which may I add was open, so like the stupid kid I am, I walk down in it. I start coughing. I think whatever made that loud noise came from down here. In the smoke, I notice not one, but two silhouettes. "Ah! Kody? (Y/N)?

I'm not dead!!! Sorry I haven't been updating 😐 I'm pretty busy right now, and stuff is going on (not bad stuff, but stuff). My New Years resolution is going to try to update more. I know this chapter was short, but hey, it's better than nothing. I'm going to try to update at least every two weeks. Oh yeah, Happy New Years guys!!! I know it's late but I have been celebrating with my family so... yeah 😐 well, I hope you guys had a good 2017
