Pyro (Lumine various x reader)

Chapter 3

   (Your POV)

   BANG!!!

   Me and Lumine had our arms in front of Kody when we heard the gunshot. I braced myself for impact, accepting my death, but nothing came. I looked up in confusion.

   After looking for where the bullet shot, I found a bullet hole near Aiden. He put his hands up, and smiled nervously. "..why are you shooting at me.." the red head started removing her mask. "Sherry" he finished. HE KNOWS HER?!! "Why am I shooting at you? Oh I don't know, maybe 'cause you made me act like some thief.." she starts walking towards Aiden. " And point a gun at the kids?! What is wrong with you!!?!"she continues yelling at Aiden. What's going on? Aiden spoke up. "I-I'm sorry, Sherry... But I wanted to see what the two new ones were capable of.. and you guys just happened to be here.." he answers "Sherry". "You and your stupid ideas" she responds under her breath, but still loud enough for me to hear.

After everything settled down, sherry broke the silence. " so they're the new ones?" "Yup" Aiden answered. "They seem like wimps. Were they the best you could fine." EXUSE ME, I AM NOT A WIMP!!!. "You think so, I mean the boy did a round house kick" I stood their awkwardly, knowing that Lumine had done something more breathtaking. "Ugh, my head." Me, Kody, and Lumine gave our attention to the blunette Lumine round house kicked. "Get up Silver. You were kicked by a child. Plus, you got distracted by a little girl talking about how stupid your mask is..." Sherry spoke to "Silver"."well first, that kids kick hurt like H*LL, like seriously, is his leg made of steel? And second, who judges someone's mask when they are in a life or death situation. THATS NOT A NORMAL REACTION!!" Silver quickly explained to Sherry. "Wait. So these two are not-" I was cut off by Aiden. "They work for me. I made them act as thieves to see how you two would react. " I showed no emotion, while I was screaming in the inside. I looked over and saw Lumine's face, he was clearly embarrassed. "I'm sorry" he quietly said to Silver. "It's fine!" He reassured.

   "Wait, why did you need to know our reactions?" Me and lumine said in unison. "I heard that Lumine worked as a bodyguard before. I had to see if you really are as bad at your job as your old boss said. turns out, you're very good at it!" I stood their, not knowing what to do, since Lumine did basically everything. Kody's face showed a surprised expression for a split second, then it went back to emotionless. "Oh. I should have known..."
"Haha, you finally figured it out? " Aiden laughed at his son. "Lumine, from today on, you will be Kody's bodyguard." "What about me?" I finally step up. "Oh, well, it's not bad to have two bodyguards is it?" It took me a second to realized what he meant. After a few seconds, I'm pretty sure I looked like the happiest girl in the world.

   (No ones POV)

   Lumines head bolted upwards, face showing confusion. "Oh right, I'm at the Neptune head quarters." He sighed in relief. As he was getting out of bed, something, or should I say, someone popped out threw his window. "GOOD MORNING LUMINE !!!" WAH, he fell over. "I hope you slept well" Aiden said in a happy tune. " I came to tell you that I need to interview you later, also, Kody's in his room. Don't let him out of your sight, okay?" He went to pick something up. "Oh right, here's your clothes" he handed lumine a uniform of some sort. He looked at it in confusion. "Aren't these your sons clothes?" "Oh you can tell? I thought it would be cute if you two matched". Lumine just stared at Aiden to try and figure out why he was so... off. "HEY!"  He looked to find the source of the voice, to find Sherry coming towards his window. "What are you doing here, you still have work to do!" She completely ignored Lumine" "Whaa! But it's such a nice day! I don't wanna work... " "get back to your office, NOW!!!" She started sacking him with some papers. "Ow sherry, no violence" Lumine just stares out his window to see the two adults acting like children. He shuts his window, and takes a minute to look at his new clothes.

   ~~~elsewhere~~~

   (Y/n) looks in the mirror at her new outfit Aiden gave her. After she made sure it looked somewhat okay, she starts heading towards Kody's room. While walking there, she notices Lumine heading towards the same place. Lumine waves at (y/n), who returns the wave with a smile.

   As they were almost there, Kody opens his door. "Um.." he just stands there, eyeing the both of us. "Good morning" (y/n) and Lumine say, Lumine stuttering a bit. He eyeballs them both, up and down, and shuts  his door. (Y/n) and Lumine stare at each other, speechless.

  After a few minutes of standing in silence, Kody comes out wearing different clothes. He starts walking, so the two werewolves follow after him. "Don't follow me" he demands. "But-" "but you dad said to not let you out of my sight" right? He won't know if your with me or not. Go back to your rooms, or bother somebody else." He interrupts Lumine. They watch him walk off while they stand there not knowing what to do. (Y/n) decides to follow Kody, while Lumine stays.

   (Y/n)s POV

   " yeah, I'm following you wether you like it or not." I say to Kody. "Fine, I can't get rid of you, so you can stay, as long as you don't talk to me." "Like is said, I'm follow- wait what, I can stay!!" My ears perk up, and my tail starts wagging. He looks away for a second, which makes me tilt my head in confusion. Now he is covering his face with his hands. Why is he acting so strange? I thought he was going to ignore me... well, at least he isn't ignoring me... right? I keep talking to myself in my head, not realizing where I was going, ending up with me face planting. As I get up, with the help of Kody, I think I see Kody smile for the first time.

   (No ones POV)

   "Are you sure that it was a good idea?" Sherry asks Aiden. "Hm?" "One that attracts trouble, and two that cause trouble. Not a very good combination in my opinion." "Hmm..." "IT SERIOUSLY SEEMS LIKE YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR SON'S WELL BEING AT ALL! YOU KNOW THE REASON WHY HE-" "Sherry" Aiden interrupts Sherry's little outburst. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing... most of the time"
