14 year old, Isabelle got out of bed at 5:00am and got dressed. Her jeans, long sleeve and everything else. She got fire wood and the water. She started to boil the water and kept the fire going. She then grabbed her bow and arrows, then headed outside. She silently snuck into the bushes. Izzy looked around and saw a buck up ahead in the bushes. She got her bow and arrow in line the the buck. Got in poision. And shot. The buck slowly descended to the ground. She dragged it to her house cleaned it then prepared it. Her mother woke up at 7:03 and got dressed. She looked at the food already ready on the table. She cut it open and inspected the meat. Izzy hoped with all of her heart she had done it right. Her mother looked at her and scowled. Izzy frowned.
"What did I do wrong?"
"It's not fully cooked!"
Her mother got up and came over to where she was standing. She raised her hand and slapped it across Izzy's face. Izzy backed and grabbed the wall. It hurt more than usual. Her mother looked at her with fury in her eyes.
"You could have given me food poisoning! GO COOK IT AGAIN!"
Izzy quickly gathered her bow and arrows and ran out the door. She ran far away. To a place only she could go. The cave.
