Izzy's P.O.V

Pain. That's all I felt through out my body. Even though it didn't last very long it had really bad side effects. Like I could see but it was blurry. I could move but not very far because something was holding me. I just got enough strength to try and escape. It was a failed attempt. It was so hard to move when you were chained to chair in a pitch black room. I tried to stay calm. I thought of my new found friends. Rachel was very wise but there was something about that made me shiver. Not that she was scary, no. It was something they had injected into her. Something was going on that I had to fix and fast. But how?

Rachel's P.O.V

After talking with all the students I found 2 boys that wanted to help. Another one wanted to take control completely. His name was Ace. He was very feisty. Smart and slick. The most popular kid in the school apparently. He quickly got on my nerves. The other two had gone to see Zoe. She had a hard hit through it all. Zoe really liked Izzy. Izzy didn't really open up to anyone but after just a few hours she'd risked her life for theirs. She thought she was brave and so did I. The taller dirty blonde was named Chris. I assumed he was the older even though the other acted older.

"Hey just wondering, which one of you is the oldest?" I asked.

  Chris laughed as if this was a joke. "I'm the oldest and this thing is my younger brother."

Calvin looked offended but also looked concerned. "We need to get your friend back before anything happens to her."

Zoe looked at the boy with fear in her eyes. "What if we're to late?"

"I'm sure we're not. Come on. Look on the the bright side." Calvin seemed so determined to be positive. I was surprised that Zoe wasn't the one looking to the bright side.

 "Are you sure?"

 "I don't really know."

 "That's what I thought."

What was wrong with her?
