Chris's P.O.V

What was happening to everyone. No one was agreeing. Everyone was fighting and the worst part was I knew they were headed for disaster. If only Rachel hadn't "died". Now Ace was trading on us just so that she would stay alive just until they reached the institute. Then they would kill her anyway and the rest of us. There was a long journey ahead so I had lots of time to think of a plan. If only I could say more than "Hi my name is Chris" that would help a lot but no. I'm too afraid to talk to anyone. But I have to or else I'll end up killing myself. No. I can't think like that! My brother's life depends on this moment. I started to walk up to Ace. "Hey Ace. So, I h-have a t-t-theory. S-s-so you s-seem to-" He cut me off. "What's deal! Just spit it out!" I felt the anger rise in me. "YOUR A TRADER! YOU'RE GOING TO SELL US OUT! YOU PLAN ON TAKING US TO THEIR INSTITUTE! YOU JUST WANT TO SAVE YOUR SWEETHEART RACHEL!" Everyone turned and starred at Ace. Ace looked me.

"Ace lied to us?"

"Why would you do this do this to us?"

"You monster!"

"I thought we could trust you."

"Ace I loved you."

  Everyone looked over to Calvin who was still shock. "Ace... I loved you. And you knew that. So, why would you do this?"

Ace also looked shocked. "I'm so sorry it's just, she never rejected me. I loved you too but she loved every part of me not just my looks. But I'm sorry everyone. There is no way out of this, I already signed a contract."

I saw Zoe start to quiver. I went over to her. I whispered in her ear "It's okay. At least she's alive. I'm sure she'll find her way out and she'll get here safely." I could hear Ace, Calvin and the rest of the group's fighting getting louder and more aggressive. "Let's go find a place to shelter for the night." I walked off with Zoe who was clutching my hand.
