Zoe

Zoe got up and smiled. It was her birthday! She didn't expect much because her parents didn't have a lot of money. But she knew they still loved her very much. She got up and ran downstairs. She watched her brother play with the stuffies on the floor. 

"Good Morning, Zoe your presents are waiting for you on the table." Her mother said.

"Thank you."

She gave her mother, father and brother a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

She excitedly ran into the kitchen and saw her dream come to life. There was a plane ticket. To Paris. "Are you coming?" she asked.

Her parents look at each other. "No, you're going alone."

"Okay, cool. When will I come home?"

"Umm. You're not coming back."

"W-What?"
