Hentalia is a anime showing countries as people.By the way,most of them are male so GAY SHIP EVERYWHERE!!!! :D
First,there was this girl that relied on Hentalia to pass her history class.She failed and blamed the teachers.
That is an example of some people (mostly children) use this source for studying history.Sure you can learn some things from here and there,but most of it is just random stuff that the teacher doesn't even talk about.
Of course,there were cosplayers and annoying hentalia people commenting on actual history stuff.Those people.I mean,most fandoms have these people.Like Undertale.
Also there was insane shipping.Let's say there is Ship A and Ship B.If Person A likes ship A,and Person B likes ship A,Person A will attack Person B because it was "too popular" and took away the more interesting ships in the Hentalia fandom,meaning taking away from the ship Person A likes more.People also will say anything against the ships and characters they hated most.
Not only that,but they can talk about countries they don't want in the show,with is racism.They immediately hate the new characters because it will "get in the way" of the best ships.Like,can't they give the new characters a chance?Even so,people force other people to read their ship fanfiction.
So,one day there were two hentalia cosplayers.One teenage girl and her little 6 years old sister.They both had fun,which was good.Then they met...a 1000000 Leveled weeb.The weeb tackled both of them,which made the 6 year old start crying.Then,after the weeb got his pics and his talk about how hot the hentalia characters were,he followed them and when the teenage girl brought out her wallet to buy something for her little sister,her sister was gone.She alerted the security and guess where she was..in the bathroom with the weeb,for she was only found because of how loud she was crying.The weeb didn't even think he did anything wrong.The weeb was putting cat ears on the 6 year old girl.Of course,the weeb got kicked out of the store.
Did you know that stuff like that happens all the time in the hentalia fandom?(Not now,years ago when it was super alive)There were good people too,who did nothing wrong.
Overall,the fandom has no cringe,they're just really hardcore back in those days.
