"Why do I have to get up?" I groan as I shut off my alarm and roll out of bed. I stumble to my closet and pick out a old hoodie in the back off of my closet and some old skin tight ripped jeans and my classic white vans.

I then walk to the full body length mirror and look at my ensemble " I look decent today. Good job Mia" but I can't keep my eyes off my face where the newly placed bruises lie from my fathers abuse.

I been emotionally and physically abused ever since I could remember from my father. The bruises never would be bad to hide the fact that I was being hurt by my own father. Until last night.

My lovely father of mine came home upset that he got told off by his boss and could possibly lose is job because of it. Then to top it off my mother came home late and was not able to cook dinner on time for when my father arrived home.

You see my father has only hit my mother once and never again because she had threatened to leave his ass. To make matters wore I am the only child so I was the only one left for him to take it out on. I think you can fill in the rest.

I walk into the bathroom and brush out my bed hair into a nice looking ponytail. I then brush my teeth in pain because it's hard to move my beautiful face because of the wonderful bruises lying on my face.

I then sift through my bathroom looking for my make up bag " where the fuck is my fucking makeup bag I swear I will nock somebody knees till they are jelly then feed them peanut butter" I find my bag and put on my makeup to hide the bruises and " tada you look good as new Mia."

I then grab my extra hoodie and stuff it in my backpack just in case I need to change for some god forsaken reason and rush out the door to school but pause and turn around " SHIT! I forgot my Phone" and bolt back up the stairs and grab my phone, headphones and charger and walk out the door to school.
