She blinked her eyes open until they peeled apart. The last she remembered was putting her bags in the car. The bags were filled with hundreds of clothing items she would wear to her trip to France with her boyfriend, Shawn.

Her and Shawn were high school sweethearts. They were perfect for each other, so similar in every way. Shawn was the boy every girl wanted to bring home. He was perfect in every way. His charm is what attracts everyone and that's what kept Scarlett wrapped around his finger. Their life together was very vanilla and that's just the way they liked it.

She groaned as she moved her sore shoulders and she grimaced at how tight she was. She made a mental note to schedule a massage this week before the trip. She went to go rub her eyes but her hands wouldn't move.

She furrowed her eyebrows and her eyes focused more on her surroundings. The room was all stone and the floor she was laying on my concrete that had old stains of red. Their was a single light shining down on her and there was no door.

How was there no door? How did she get in here if there was no door?

Her hands were attached to chains that were bolted to the wall and she tugged on them a little more. She was locked in.

Panic began to set in and her breathing began to pick up as she scanned the empty room again. How long had she been in there for? Hours, days, months? Surly it had only been a couple of hours considering how fresh her clothes she put on this morning were. Here black jeans and white blouse were still on but her moccasins and pink vest were no where to be seen or her watch for that matter.

She was able to roll up her sleeves with the amount of slack she was given on the chain and it made her have more mobility in the outfit. Surly Shawn would be looking for her by now because she cooks dinner for him every night and tonight would be no exception so he'd had to notice she was gone soon. She imagined him coming home from his day at the office and sniffing for signs of her famous cooking, but to no avail she wouldn't be there to great him and he would be home alone. That's when he'll call the police and she'll be rescued. The thought gave her hope and seemed to relax her a minuscule amount.

She turned around and pressed her feet against the wall and tried to pull the bolt out of the wall but it only managed to cut into her wrists and make them more sore.

She bit her trembling lip and looked around the cold room and wished to be in the arms of Shawn. Her imagination wandered to him running into the police station and demanding they send every man to look for her. She was too innocent to know that she would not be leaving anytime soon and the cops were paid off and would throw her file right into the trash as soon as her boyfriend left the station.

She jumped in her skin when the wall across from her hummed and a portion of the wall slid open and she pressed herself into the opposite wall to get as far away from what ever was on the other side.

Soon a man walked in with a sickening smirk on his lips and he gave Scarlett the creeps. She trembled as she stared at who she thought was her captor and right then and there she wished back all of the wrongs she did in her life. Like the time she cheated on her Trigonometry final or when she stole those sunglasses out of boredom.

"Well well well, if it isn't the woman of the hour," He spoke in a hungry tone that made Scarlett gulp. "Or should I say year, we've been on your tail for a while, doll face," he said and her eyes widened as he revealed she was being watched for the past year.

How much had they seen? Had they seen all that she thought only she knew about? How much did they know?

Her questions gave her a headache and she grimaced.
