Chihiro Fujusaki × Shy!Reader ['Be More Confident']

  I was (N) (L/N). Ultimate Doctor. Sadly, I was shy, which didn't let me get to many patients, or even understand what was wrong with them. I blatantly relied on my skills to get these things done.
 
  I was getting my things ready to go home, sighing out of the office, when I saw some light coming from the computer room.

Who could that be..? I thought to myself, nearing the lab carefully.
Peering into the lab, I saw someone sitting on a small stool, typing the keys as if their life depended on it. I loomed over them to get a better look. My eyes widened as I made connections in my mind. Chihiro never left. Did he?

~•~Flash back~•~

"H-Hey there Ch-Chihiro!" I said to him as he entered the building.
"Oh, h-hi (N)-chan!"
"Just call me (N)! Please." I said with a nervous smile.
"What're you h-here for, If you don't mind me asking?" I asked.
"Huh? Oh, an appointment.." Chihiro then walked off into the distance to his, 'apointment'.

~•~End of Flash Back~•~

  He never left. I decided on going to check on him, walking slowly as to not startle him. Chihiro twitched and turned his head around, spotting me.
Something inside me made me stop, the boy looked defenseless, startled. I inhaled sharply, worried.

He thinks I'm a stalker. He thinks I'm a stalker. Oh shit. I thought.

"I-Its after c-closing hours.." I mumbled.

"Oh, y-yeah, s-sorry about that, (N).." He replied meekly.

"No issue.." 'have courage' They say. Have courage my ass. I thought to myself, frustrated. "You're cute anyways." I blurted out.
 
  A clear blush crept along his cheeks, even in the dark. My face burned.

"Uh! I m-mean.. y-you're not c-cute! It's not th-that you're n-n-not cute it's just th-that I.." My voice cracked at the end, knowing that our friend ship was over. "I.. need to leave.."

And with that, I left. Frustrated and embarased. I'm digging deeper into my social life grave, making it big enough to put a whole room in.

   On my way home, I let out a broken, frustrated, sigh. My breath hitched, crippled, until sobs escaped. I didn't know why I was crying, was it because I knew I wouldn't be able to even look at Chihiro without blushing? Maybe, but.. there was something weird inside, hurt, yet slightly happy that I told him that. I wiped the multiple tears that I had falling down my cheeks. Maybe this was a good thing? Now he knows.. that I like him? These emotions ran through my mind to fast to even get a good look at. It was too difficult.
  Getting a good view of the door to my house, I began to run towards it, catching a glimpse of a white haired girl. Just sitting there.
"Angie!" I yelled as I ran to hug my sister.
"(N)! Atua said that you were on your way, I prayed it was safe!" She said in her accenty-voice.
  "Oh? He did?" I smiled and gave her a bigger hug. "Angie, I have a question."
"What is it?" She broke away and led me inside.
"Is there anything you can do to help someone think easier?"
"Like, clear your mind or something?"
"Yeah. That."
~●~Time Skip~●~

~Chihiro's P.O.V.~

  "So." Mondo began, looking me in the eyes. "She said that you were cute?"
"Y-Yeah.. then, she had a nervous sorta breakdown." I added.
"I think that she likes you." Taka suggested.
"That's obvious, bro." Mondo told him as he patted his shoulder.
"What sh-should I do?!" I asked in panic.
"How do you feel?" Mondo flicked my forehead.
"I.." -had to think about this more. She was a great friend, and she looked  pretty, with her (H/C) hair, and (E/C) eyes, they went together nicely. I got lost in my day dreams.
"Chihiro Fujusaki!" Taka screamed.
"Wh-What?" He woke me up.
"How do you feel about (N)?" Mondo repeated.
"I.. I like her.. as more then a friend.." I muttered.
"Good!" Taka said. "Let's call her!"
"Wh-What? No!" I retorted.
"This'll be good for your confidence!" Mondo added.
"No!"
"She'll be impressed!"
"No!"
"Be more confident!"
"'Be More Confident' my ass!" I broke. "She probably doesn't even like me! It was just probably one of those random things that you blurt out when you're nervous! Ever think of that!?" My breath was shaky.

"Well.." Taka looked startled. " I guess, but, she does like you. She told me." He smiled successfully.
"What?" I asked. "She did?"
"Yes!"
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
"She asked me not to."
"Oh." So she does like me. Good. "Guys, I gotta go." I said while grabbing my things.
"Why?" Mondo asked.
"I need to do something." I got my things together and walked out of Taka's house.

Today was the day.

~Your P.O.V~

"Angie?" I asked as she set up the little inflatable kiddie pool.
"Yes?"
"Will this work?"
"I think so. Atua does also."
"Oh, okay." I sighed. She was pouring water in the pool and 60 bags of salt. (Stranger Things Refrence) What for?
"What's this for?" I asked, curious.
"For you to have time to think."
"This is supposed to clear my mind then?"
"Yes!" She said happily.
"Oh, that's good?"
"Its what you wanted, no?"
"Yes. It is."
"Its ready!" She rubbed her hands together and let me get in.
  As I entered an aura of calm surrounded me. I floated in the pool and close my eyed, relaxed. My mind was the cleared. Every worry washed away. No problems. Everything was perfect. Then, I began thinking about Chihiro.
Do I have a crush on him? He is cute. Nice, perfect in my eyes. Think I found my answer.. 
  I began to daydream, sensing something odd happening away from me. Although, in my place of calm, nothing mattered. I was flying, Chihiro to my right, Angie to my left, then, I fell. I fell. I fell into a pond, Chihiro was looking down at me, frowning, he swooped down and held my hand. Just then, something touched my hand. It woke me up.
"(N)?" My eyes opened to the voice. His voice.
"Chihiro?" I got out of the tank to face him. Angie was holding him back from touching me and gave him a clear glare.
"About what you said,"
"Don't mind what i said, Chihiro!"
"Ilikeyoutoo!" He blurt out. Silence swept the backyard. I sat in the kiddie pool with my mouth open, gaping.
"Really?" I said after a few minutes.
"Yes!" He fell into the kiddie pool and gave me a deep kiss.
"Will you damn kids shut the hell up!?" One of my neighbors yelled out.
  We pulled away and chuckled.
"If you hurt her, Atua will send you to  the underworld with a soon death." Angie said, smiling.
"P-Promise." He replied, a bit shook.
"Firends don't lie." I said.
"I.. w-want to be more then f-friends, (N).." Chihiro said.
"M-Me t-too." I pulled him into a deeper kiss and wrapped my arms around him.
