5. Pretty Little Liar

-1:34pm, Friday, Ontario-

-Shawn-

"How about Camila?" Chloe asked, I shook my head, "Astrid?" Chloe asked, I shook my head again, "Hailee?" Chloe asked and I groaned, "okay... I'll come up with some other people" Chloe shrugged, I groaned louder and Chloe raised her eyebrow, "what?" Chloe asked, "nothing." I lied, "okay" Chloe looked down at her phone,

"Chloe..." I began and she looked at me, "yes?" Chloe asked, I ran my hand through my hair, "I... Nevermind." I shook my head, I put in my earphones and played an interview that Chloe did about Chasing Clouds, I was on a world tour then,

Chloe sat down on the couch, the interviewer, Alice, smiled as she did so,

"Hello Chloe" Alice greeted,

"Hey" Chloe smiled,

"So, obviously, you're here to talk about Chasing Clouds, that movie that topped all charts" Alice opened her IPad,

"Yeah, it did, which was awesome" Chloe laughed,

"I believe it would be, but, you got to kiss Shawn Mendes, six times!! How was that??" Alice asked,

"It was more than six times, because including all the times we failed those scenes... But, I didn't really think about it that much" Chloe shrugged,

"But that sex scene... The Mendes Army went crazy, saying things like, they ship MuffinDancer for life, or they want to see more of you two in movies and music, does all of this affect you??" Alice asked,

"A bit... I mean, it was awkward doing that scene, Shawn and I ended up calling it that scene, because it got really awkward saying, like, 'oh, we have to do the sex scene', our director, who was reallt strict at the start, but turned out to be our friend, he teased us so much, he said, like, 'time for the big kids scene!' And he picked out every minor thing we did wrong to make us to do it again" Chloe shook her head,

"So... It's been 4 months since you saw Shawn last, you two have been posting things like, 'I miss my movie buddy!! I need a hug...' When will you see each other next??" Alice asked,

I felt my heart tighten and tears threatened to spill, I remember the feeling all too well, knowing I wasn't going to see Chloe for a while then, made me feel so empty,

"A while I guess... Because of our tours we're going opposites sides of the world, he's in Tokyo... I think today" Chloe looked at her denim skirt,

"That must be hard, especially considering how close you two became over the time you were filming the movie" Alice looked at her sympathetically,

"Yeah" Chloe let her hair fall beside her face.

She was that affected by it that much?? I remember when I saw her next,

-Flashback (1 Year 4 Months)-

-Chloe-

I looked right, the wall of the alleyway seemed to be endless, like my tears, I rested my head on my palms, "where are you now?" I asked quietly, why was I acting this way??

Because, he's my friend, the only person I can trust and rely on.

I looked up at the night sky, it was beautiful, the stars reminded me of the permanant sparkle in Shawn's eyes,
