Y/n point of view

I was cleaning my room while singing and dancing. I promised myself I'd study but I can't keep that promise.

I walked to my window to see Shawn my best friend sitting on his bed texting someone.
It broke my heart that he looked sad.

I went to walk over to his when I heard screaming and yelling. I ran back to my window to see that Shawn's girlfriend was yelling at him again.

I don't understand why he's still with her when all she does is break him more. She hates who he is all she's good for is using people.

I don't hate many people but she is one

She left his room and he sat on his bed looking at the floor. I felt like crying watching him. I see his eyes meet mine and I gave him a sincere smile. I grabbed my note pad and started to write.

' you ok ?' I placed it on the window for him to read.

He nodded and replied

' I need you? Can you come over please'

I put my thumbs up and grabbed my coat while walking out onto the frozen streets. I walked up to his house and opened the front door.

" hi Karen hi manny" I yelled into the kitchen

" hi y/n" they said In unison

I walked up the stairs and stood in front of Shawn's door only to hear soft sobs coming from inside. I knew he was trying to not cry by the sound of his breathing. He was truely broken

I slowly opened the door to see him staring at the ceiling silently sobbing. I walked over and sat beside him. He got scared and sat up. His eyes softened when they met mine. He wrapped his arms around my waist and laid me down next to him. I cuddled into his side and listened to him humming quietly.

" Shawn what happened with Camila?" I softly spoke.

"She broke up with me" he sighed, I looked up at him to see tears falling from his eyes.

" I hate it y/n I'm never gonna find someone perfect for me" he sobbed

" hey hey you'll find her she's out there somewhere and you deserve her and she'll deserve you" I caressed his cheeks while I looked into his eyes.

His face seemed to click after looking into his eyes for so long.

" why haven't I noticed you until now?" He smiled softly

" what do you mean?" my heart fluttered

" you're always there for me, every time you make contact with me I can't breathe, you take my breathe away, you make me numb and hold all my feelings in your hands, your the girl" he smiled widely.

" what girl?" I asked confused

" your the girl for me, the girl who I deserve.." he leaned in leaving no gap between our bodies.

My heart dropped and then picked itself up like every thing was complete.

I was completely in love with my best friend.
