A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in so long :( I've been really busy but here it is!!!

Daniel gestures for me to follow him before turning away and walking deeper into the forest surrounding us, not even waiting to see if I follow. Is he crazy? He thinks I'll just obey his commands at the snap of his fingers? Hell no. I need answers.

"Who are you working for?" I call out to his retreating figure.

He looks over his shoulder at me, grinning boyishly.

"Who says I'm working for anybody, Newbie?" He shouts back, I walk closer to him so we won't have to shout.

"Well you obviously didn't find me on accident-"

He stops walking and interrupts me with a wave of his hand.

"Says who? I was just out here taking a walk from camp when I saw you, looking lost as a little, sad puppy, mind you." I huffed.

"You're lying," I point an accusing finger at his face. "And I'm going to find out what you're lying about."

I hadn't realized but as we were talking we got closer and closer to each other. Standing practically two feet apart. I cant help but feel a blush creep into my cheeks and mentally slap myself. Get a grip! He's a criminal, need I remind you.

"Newbie," he begins, suddenly sincere," I'm not lying. You obviously need help and I'm here to give it. You wouldn't last one day out here. It gets crazy at night, killing spree crazy. Do you want to be on your own during that?" I open my mouth to respond but he keeps going. "Didn't think so. So are you going to stand there and argue with me all day or are you going to heed my advice and come with me?"

I bit my lip anxiously. I don't know him at all, but I don't know anyone here. He could be a murderer who likes to play with his food before eating, but I'd take my chances with him rather than get sliced open by some lunatic.

"You swear that when were in a safe place, you'll tell me who you really are?" I ask, suspicious. He gives me a stupid look.

"Newbie, there is never a safe place in Treason. Get used to it."
