SO HEE's POV
I felt a pair of arms wrapping around me. I smiled and hugged back, until they let go to dance. I gave a confused look but I couldn't see them. All I could see was light, but I could hear their voices and feel their touches. I joined the dance, but then lighting struck.
I woke up to the sound of more rain.
I guess it was just a dream... I thought.
I looked over at Sy Za who was still sleeping. I got off my bed to prepare some coffee and waffles. I'm a good cook, but cooking isn't really my big habit. I set the table and saw a just-woke-up Sy Za. The rain continued pouring down, much stronger.
When will this rain stop?
After I finished my breakfast, I took a shower and got ready for school. After doing my morning routine, I saw that Sy Za was ready too so we proceeded to the main school building with an umbrella. However, we only had one umbrella so I shared with her. We walked in our now-soaked shoes to go to our first period. We had the same course which is Science and Technology. We picked our seats, until the teacher came in.
After a long class, the bell rang and the rest of the students left with their bags and things. I was sorting out my notes until a guy winked at me. I gave him a glare, as he just left me there..flustered.
God, this boy. Seriously. I don't even know him, but he just flirts to me like that? I wish I was average so nobody would freaking call me 'beautiful', 'darling', etc. I rolled my eyes.
Sy Za was talking to one of her friends, Mika. They approached me and invited me to the mall just for a small outing. I gladly accepted, only if it's just the three of us. The mall was quite close, but we also had to share an umbrella again.
We entered the cold mall, until I felt something fall down my bag. I just shrugged and we went to buy some school supplies. I was just picking a fiction book in the Korean Historical section. There was many things to choose from! Well, my allowance is just 100,000 won so I should be careful it it since my mother and brother saved it just for my fees and needs for SUOST.
"So Hee," I felt a tap on my shoulder so I faced the person to see Irene holding a fiction romance book. "Can you help me with my allowances? This book is really expensive but I should reserve this for another day, just help me save some money to get this book."
"You know, you should've asked me to treat you." I said, opening my backpack until she stopped me by slapping my hands off. "Ouch!"
"Sorry...but no! You don't have to do that, I—"
"I insist." I said and opened my bag. She sighed and just nodded in defeat.
But then, I didn't see my wallet. Where's my wallet?! N-no..this can't be! My mom's gonna kill me! I panicked as Sy Za gave me a confused look.
THIS CAN'T HAPPEN! I placed it right in my bag where I mostly put it in! Alright So Hee, retrace your steps..maybe you just left it at the dorm! I thought.
I then remembered, maybe the thing that fell down was my wallet! It was outside! I remember! I must get it back before someone does! I ran towards the exit with Mika and Sy Za following me, worried. I arrived to the exit and saw my wallet, but the rain was strong. I bit my bottom lip.
Oh crap..do I have to soak myself for my wallet that mom and Sam Lee oppa has been saving just for my school fees..? YES! I should but...UGH! Stop being so hesitant, Kyung So Hee!
I ran for it with the rain pouring down on my hair, face, body and clothes. I quickly grabbed my wallet, relieved. Until, a lightning bolt jolted onto the floor near me. I looked behind me to see Sy Za and Mika running towards me.
I panicked, until I was too late. I felt electricity through my veins, leaving me unconscious.
