When You Catch Him Singing

*(Y/N)'s POV*

Walking down the hall to my classroom, I kept humming to myself on the way. Severus and I were going to go over our plans for the week. I picked a new song to sing to as I'm on my way.

'Can you hear...my heart beat?

I close my eyes and tell myself that

'Oh, I made it!' I thought to myself as I reach for the door handle of the classroom. Before I began to turn it, I heard something from inside the room, like........singing? 'Honest to Merlin, if I catch Severus singing I will be over the frickin' moon!' I exclaimed in my head with a smirk on my lips. So I turned the knob slowly and poked my head through the space between the doorframe and the door.......

'I believe in a thing called "love"....

"SEVERUS?!"

•~•~Silence~•~•...................

Severus, still frozen in the same position he was singing the song, stared at me with a huge red blush painting his entire head. He spoke, "............Would you believe me if I said this song is my least favorite and this is the last time I'll EVER sing to this?"

"....No."

"Fair enough." He switches to a normal standing position and tilts his head down, red blush still coated on his entire face. I just smiled at him while giggling and asking, "Who knew you had such an amazing singing voice, Severus?" He continues to blush madly, but he answered my question, "No one knows...until now, that is." He hides his face behind his hands as I approach his figure. I chuckle as I pull his hands away and held them in my tiny ones. "You are so adorable, Severus! Did you know that?" I asked him. He smiles down at me shyly and answered, "I do now." He leans down to kiss me and I meet him half way.

We locked our lips for a minute before we slowly let go of each other. He spoke, "And I love your singing voice as well-I thought I heard an angel of music." Now, it is my turn to blush madly. "You heard me in the hall?!" I whisper-yelled to him. "Yes. You may think that you sing quietly, but it's quite the opposite......not that I mind, though." He shrugged his shoulders at the last statement.

I shake my head as if I'm trying to shake off the blush on my face and hid my face in my hands. My hands were pulled away by Severus's own, the blush still on my face. He chuckled as he raised both my hands to his lips to kiss the back of them, and then he leaned down to capture my lips again.

"Mmm," I moaned quietly as I kissed him back. My arms wrap around his shoulders as his wrap around my hips. As we broke away again, he whispered in my ear, "If this is what I receive for singing, I should sing only for you more often." I chuckle lightly and replied,

"Well, we shall see, Severus."
