She sat perched neatly on the edge of her seat, back straight with books positioned perfectly, betraying no emotion on her cold features. Her unique lilac eyes were trained directly on the paunchy, balding teacher who squirmed and stuttered slightly under her icy gaze, struggling to hold his train of thought. Rowdy boys threw screwed up notes whilst girls gossiped and sent texts under the table. The two other girls positioned each side of her  sat in silence, but bearing completely different countenances. The girl to her left scribbled down exactly what the teacher said word for word, her notes perfect despite her hurried pace. Ashaya's brown hair looped and curled wildly around her pretty features as her honey brown eyes showed exactly how concentrated she was on her work. In comparison, the girl to her right lounged on the two back legs of her chair, chewing gum as she texted openly on her phone. Her playful green eyes glinted as she turned her attention to Isebail before her gaze slid to Ashaya and Talaiths full lips curved into a slow smirk. Reaching out a slender arm across the desks, she slowly went to reach for the book, preparing to make a quick grab for it but Isebail's hand reached out to snatch her hand and dig her long pearly nails into it. Talaith groaned but Isebail's eyes didn't move from the sweaty teacher. He turned to look in their direction but Isebail held his gaze and tilted her head slightly, long silky ivory hair falling to the side. He shuddered slightly before looking away. Sensing the tension, Ashaya looked up before registering the struggle of Talaith and pausing to give Isebail a look of gratitude. Suddenly, Isebail released her grip and swept her books into her bag just as the bell rang.
