The girls marched down the corridor, perfectly in step and in a straight line as the crowds of students automatically parted to make way for them.
"That hurt Isebail!" Ashaya rolled her eyes as Talaith continued to whine and complain. "It was your own fault. You tried to take my book."
" But was that really warranted? I mean look at my perfect arm! It's practically disfigured!" The golden skin of her arm was only marred by two crescent imprints already fading. The argument continued as Isebail contained her feelings of irritation at the bickering that never seemed to stop from the pair. She scanned the crowds that parted like magic before the trio, whispers and rumours flying in their wake. Her sharp eyes stopped their sweep of the corridor as she caught the gaze of a pair of chocolate brown eyes that sparkled with kindness and joy. As soon as she glanced at them she felt the noise and activity of passing students fade away until it was just her and the beautiful brown haired boy who held her attention. Truly there was no other way to describe him. His thick, silky looking hair was pushed back from his head as if he had pushed it away impatiently and the pale ethereal looking skin below his eyes were smudged with dark coloured shadows that announced the fact that he had evidently not been getting enough sleep for a while. Isebail remained staring into his eyes, entranced before he broke eye contact as he slammed his locker shut. Panic clawed at her stomach as the prospect of losing this perfect looking person bore down upon her. Before she could break ranks with her now squabbling friends he was gone, swept away with the crowd. Immediately the noise that had been blanked out from her sudden interest assaulted the small shells of her ears, making her pouty lips twist into a scowl. As if sending her change in mood, her friends looked at her, arching their brows curiously. "What's wrong?" Ashaya's soft features were filled with concern as they carried on up the corridor. "Nothing." Isebail snapped coldly, still desperately trying to seek out the good natured smile. Ashaya remained quiet, understanding that she would be one of the first to know if there was a situation. Talaith smirked knowingly, jabbing an elbow into Isebail's ribs." Oh I know that expression! Which boy in this god forsaken hell has snagged the frosty attention of our little Elsa?" Isebail halted, pure ice practically shooting from her eyes as she glared at her. Ashaya, ever the peace keeper, just sighed, moving to link their arms as she tugged them to in the direction of the canteen.
