After break, Isebail headed to her next class, psychology which was one of the only classes without Talaith or Ashaya. She approached the room with the same predatory stalk that came naturally to her, long limbs swiftly moving to a slow, unhurried pace. She was only a few metres from the door when she heard the sound of a yell and mocking laughter as she felt something collide with her at high speed, knocking them both to the floor as papers flew everywhere. She sat, eyes narrowed as rage started to churn in her stomach. She whipped her head to the side, only to see the same chocolate eyes that she saw this morning staring at her with apprehension. Her eyes traced the boy's features, taking note of the dark bruises that marred his porcelain skin. He gulped slightly, staring up at her, appearing to be rooted to the spot. Her hand reached up, gripping his chin and turning his head gently but firmly, examining the flaws that blossomed darkly over his cheekbone. His eyes stared down at her steadily, calm yet slightly nervous as a blush crept slowly up his cheeks. The two muscular boys who had harassed him jeered, evidently realising who he had knocked over and were expecting a major show down. Her stare flitted to them, her eyes darkening with rage as her full lips twisted into a sneer. She stood silently, every inch the poised, collected daughter of a successful businessman. Her steps were slow and measured, her head held high as her heels clicked. The two boys stared, laughs dying as fear started to seep into their dumb little minds. She came to a stop, arms crossed, feet spread slightly and her chin tilted up. Her lips curved into a vengeful sneer, her eyebrows furrowed slightly and ice trickled into her gaze. "What do you think you're playing at?" Her overall tone dripped with superiority and despit her tiny size, she still managed to look down her nose at them. They started to stutter but she raised a hand, silencing them." Listen to me closely. I'm really not in the mood for physical violence and I am only going to say this once. Understand?" They nodded furiously, looking like they were about to start trembling. "Leave." They immediately rushed back down the corridor, sliding slightly on the polished floor.
