Cathy's boyfriend Mason drove us all the way through Stratford to Kelsey's house. We all attended the same highschool, Stratford Northwestern Secondary School. Mason parked the car in front of Kelsey's house. The house was huge and music blasted out of it. Some drunk teenagers stormed outside and I used the opportunity to get in. It took Cathy only several seconds to get us alcohol. I didn't even know what it was but it burned inside of me when i took a sip. I drank it up, out the red cup on the floor, smashed it with my feet and kicked it away. Cathy did same and we headed towards the couch. We talked to some people we knew from school as well as some strangers. I left for a minute because I had to go to the bathroom and when I returned Mason already had stuck his tongue inside my best friend's throat. I rolled my eyes and headed to the table where the drinks stood. I spontaneously mixed something together and before I could even take my first sip, someone took the cup from me. A boy drank it up and did the same move as I did before. After he kicked the cup away, he smiled at me.
"Nice move"
"I saw you doing that." He smiled again.
"Haley" I told him my name and raised an eyebrow.
"Nicholas. Call me Nick"
"You owe me a drink, Nick" With that being said, I left him standing there.
I saw Cathy sitting outside. I went towards her but I got interrupted.
"Um, Haley?" It was Nick. He dared to stop me from going to my best friend? Rest in peace, Nicholas.
"Yeah?"
"What did you exactly mix? It tasted better than what I usually drink." He looked curiously.
"Oh well," I said and took him by his hand. I led him back to the table and pointed at three bottles.
"That's it."
"You didn't really know what you did. Did you?" He grinned at me. He had dark brown curly hair and an undercut. He wore his pants quite low and paired them with a grey t-shirt and black nike huaraches.
"No." I said and laughed.
"Of course you didn't. You're minor, right?"
"I'm seventeen. So pretty close to be allowed to drink" I replied. I realized that I sounded like a little girl. That didn't help. Fuck.
"Yeah, but not in Ontario. You need to be 19" he sneered.
I nodded slowly. I turned around to look after Cathy but she wasn't there anymore.
"Hey, what's the matter? You look kinda worried"
"I'm looking for my friend" I answered while I was looking in every direction and every corner.
"Let's go search for her."

We looked everywhere. In all rooms and in the backyard. Even in the basement and the attic. She was nowhere to be found. She would never leave without telling me or at least sending me a message. I went outside as I noticed that Mason's car was missing.
"Fuck."
"What happened?" he asked.
"A friend drove me to the party and now he's gone. Probably together with Cathy. I mean yeah I'm sure that they left since they are a couple."
"I'll drive you" Nick offered.
"No you don't have to. I can call my mom." I didn't even know this guy.
"It's not a big deal. Come on." he walked further down the road and assumed that I would follow him. I sighed and walked behind him until he took out a car key. He pushed a button and suddenly headlights of a car flashed. It was a black sports car with silver details. I starred for a whole eternity.
"Audi R8" he bragged and opened the door to the passenger seat. I sat down and waited for him to jog around the front and get in the car, too.
The car had dark brown leather seats, a nude steering wheel and a nude dashboard. It smelled like musk and cigarettes. As I thought of cigarettes, he took a pack of cigarettes out of the glovebox. Marlboro Red. He offered me one, but I shook my head no. He placed the cigarette between his lips and kept driving. Suddenly there was an incoming call. He accepted it and turned on the volume of the speakers.
"Humphrey. Who's calling?"
"It's me dumbass. Listen, I need you to come back home. Right now. There may be a problem."
"Why did you call anonymously?"
"I'm not the type of person that you want to have his name in your phone list." and then the caller hung up. It was probably a boy or man or whatever. He had a deep and raspy voice. Sexy.
"Hold on tight, Haley"
"Wait - why?" I asked him. He lit his cigarette with the cars cigarette lighter and floored the gas pedal.
"Are you trying to kill us?" I shouted. We were driving way too fast on these ordinary streets. He was lucky that there was almost no one else so he could run a lot of red lights.
"I thought that you were driving me home? What the fuck, Nick."
"Sorry hun. But I need to go home immediately." For fucks sake. What I get myself into.
Nick drove into a street I had never seen before. There were only some houses but at the end of the street there was an impressive one. Within a blink of an eye, he stood on the brakes.
"This is where you live?" I whispered.
"Yep. You stay in the car. It will probably take some hours but I promise that I'm going to drive you home" he said and winked.
"Fuck no. I'm calling my mom, she will be glad to pick me up and drive me away from strangers. Address?"
"Sorry Haley" he said. He closed the door. Click. He locked me inside of the car.
"What the fuck, Nicholas? Let me out!" I screamed. He winked again and then turned away heading the house. This little bitch.

Jason's POV

I walked down the street with my hands in the pockets. I shivered in my t-shirt. I decided to go out for a walk after calling Nick. I knew that he would come home as fast as possible but he was pretty far away. Car vs distance. Someone definitely watched too much Fast and furious. I ran through my hair with my hands and looked at the screen of my phone. 11 new messages. My boys love me. I smirked. I took the bandana from my wrist and tied it around my head with a knot. I could already see the boys through the window. Who's screaming there? Bryson, that little faggot? Now he sounds more like a dying whale. I turned my back to the side and saw Nicks Audi. Were the screams coming from the car? I'm getting Lightning McQueen vibes. No, there was a fucking bitch screaming inside the car. I wanted to ignore her but she definitely saw that I recognized her. She started knocking on the window of the car. Damn that was too annoying. Gladly, I had keys to that car, too, so I opened the door of the driver's side.
"What's your problem, bitch?" I spat to make clear she was just some kind of hoe Nick had brought here. She was hot tho. She was fire.
"That little asshole Nick locked me in here." she said trying to escape. She realized that her door was still closed, so she tried to crawl over me. I pushed her back to the seat.
"I'm sure he had his reasons."

Haley's POV

He pushed me back into my seat.
"I'm sure he had his reasons." Who the fuck did he think he was to assume that?
"Who are you?" I asked but it sounded as if I was demanding an answer, what I did.
"None of your business."
"Okay, but let me go."
"I'd rather not." he said grinning. Asshole.
Gunshots. Somebody shot at the car. That guy ducked down and told me not to move. He locked the doors and held his hands protective above my head. I smiled a little bit. The shots stopped. He lifted his hands and I started breathing again since I had held my breath. There was blood on my clothes. Whoever shot at us, shot into his shoulder. Within seconds he lost a shocking amount of blood. He sat in his seat and was breathing very slow and heavy.
"Stay awake, okay? Don't shut your eyes!" I said to him while looking at his wound. I looked up and saw how he slowly lost consciousness.
"Hey! No, no, no. Stay awake!" I saw that he wore two dog tags and pulled one up.
Jason McCann.
"Jason, listen. Nick is coming to the car. Don't leave me now. Jason!"
"Yeah, that's my - my name. Jason."
