Lexi's POV

Lexi: Joey.....

Joey: Ye- oh...hi

Lexi: Um Joey, I have something to tell you.

Joey: Yes?

I could tell he was getting impatient with my stalling, I just didn't know how to tell him. I mean Im not gonna be like 'Hey joey I know you don't remember me, but im pregnant with your child.'

Joey: I'm waiting..

Lexi: Um joey.......I'm uh......I-I'm p-pregnant.

He didn't say anything much after that. All that was left was the thick silence of our own heart beats. After a while, he finally spoke up.

Joey: i-is it mine?

I slowly nod my head yes, while he buries his face in his hands.

I go over to him and sit on the edge of the bed, and slowly rub small circles onto his back. the way I used to calm him down. He was more hesitant this time though.

Joey: You're getting rid of it right?

I was shocked. he would honestly think I would kill a living (almost) child? He is wrong. If he doesn't want it, then he wont have it, but I'm keeping it none the less.

Lexi: You're kidding me. I mean I know you lost your memory and all, but I never thought you were this insensitive. Would you have done this to me if you had remembered me?

He just stood there and looked at me. No answer. Nothing. And there I stood. Recognizing the feeling of hot tears burning at the edge of my eyes.

Lexi: I see. I now know who you are.

And with that, I left.
