Chapter 21 ➸ "Be Strong"

~3 Months Later~

I quickly ate some breakfast, that mom made. Every since we moved from the Ro'maeve's house, things have been brighter. My dad is in jail, for like 30 years, or more, maybe forever. I haven't had any... boy problems simce I joined this really neat group. The Shadow Knights. Gene looked out for me. Scared all the boys away. And that Aphmau girl? Well, she's been avoiding me. So I shrug it off and keep on moving with life. And its turns out... Blaze is dating Dottie. And Kai? Well, I heard Katelyn gave him a chance to go on a date. But then, Aphmau was upset... At least that's what I heard. And Ein? Well... I guess things stopped before he could bully me anymore. But... Not gonna lie... He was pretty hot when he got mad. Anyways, heard he's dating Aphmau. Lot's of crazy stuff huh?

Oh, and no one knows about me being a hybrid.

But Ein? I feel like he's there... If I'm there... He's there. His friends? Jax and Rider? Well, it's like they are his minions. These are the things I question in my head. I make sure my skirt is covering a large portion of my legs as I get near the school.

For some reason, my tail has been... I don't know how to say it... but... Popping out? I'll be eating or something... And my tail is there. Sometimes its from my meifwa form. And sometimes, my werewolf.

"Hey Y/N!" Garroth greeted. I smile, and wave. "Have you seen Laurence?" He asked. I shook my head no. Oh, and I became mute... Only at school. But, I rarely talk at home either way. My voice hurts when I talk, really bad. But, I can't tell my mom that. We've come so far.

"Hey Cutie" Laurence as he winked. Garroth blushed, I smiled at this, covering my mouth.  Laurence gave him a peck on the cheek. Oh, and Laurence and Garroth are uh, dating now! It took them a while to figure it out, but everyone was shipping them anyways. Alot of people in our school support it. But... Others don't.

"You know, the school year is almost over." Garroth said as he stopped from his blush fest.

"I know... You know... There is a dance coming up. The Spring Dance" Laurence said. "Are you going Y/N?" I shrug. Probably not.

The school bell rung, and everyone headed inside

I went up to the library, and I was looking for a book. But, I got a little thirty so I went to go get water. I walked out of the library, but I slipped on some water in front of the girls bathroom.

/Out of Order/

Ewww.... Poo water. Well, the toilet has been out of order for a month or so. I got up and wiped my self off.

"Bark!"

Was that a bark? I look around, and see a puppy run out of the bathroom. I look at the puppy in shock as the puppy licks my sock. I cant help it! I start petting him, and I feel a POP. My tail! AND MY EARS?! The puppy sorta jumps and looks at me in confusion. I heard voices around the corner, and grab the puppy and run to the out of order bacthroom. The voices pass, and I look at the mirror. I look at my ears and tail, and start tearing up. Y/N... Be strong..

That's what my mother always told me

"Honey?" My mother said as she sat on my bed. I had shedding everywhere, and I was at my bed with my meifwa ears and my werewolf tail.

"They saw me mommy..." I always say mommy when I'm really scared. "They saw me, a-and they screamed and ran away"

"Honey.." She said once again. "You need to know... the world isn't always going to be sunshine and rainbows. There will be thunder and rain" I hugged her tight as I cried. "Some people in the world just see different as scary... And they react. And that doesn't make you a monster. It makes you strong. So be strong Y/N. I'm here for you.......... Always.
