[Photo above: Just to give you a little more peek at my Seven Knights(+Dark Knight, but Dellons, who cares- jk). It's kinda funny that Kris and Rudy's wings are overlapping... and Spike must be annoyed because the other wing is on his face.]

Humph. It had been minutes since Rudy held that piece of paper. He only stared and tried to make out the wobbled sketch the demon managed to come up with. He was indeed looking for someone, but the protector still had no idea who. Jave, who was with him in the farm, stared at the drawing and shared the doubt Rudy hesitated to show. The demon kid finally realized it was not going to work.

"It looks like some sort of flying thing. But what is this?" Jave motioned his fingers over the area where something was drawn being held by the creature.

Rudy shrugged, but he looked at the pet. "What is he holding- uhh" -he looked at the name scribbled at the edge of the paper- "Kree?"

Upon hearing his name, the demon jumped and sat on Rudy's head. He held his trident with the tail again and made hideous noises... resembling a badly played trumpet.

"Chyaaa! (Stop that!)" Red swooped down to hit Kree off balance.

"(What I want to always tell Ruu!)" Kree growled back before hovering higher to face Red. He confronted Red with his trident against the dragon's face. "(Listen, fire pup! I need to find him and take that trumpet or else my brain- and yours- will explode! So where is he?)"

Red bit the trident to swing it away from his face. "Chyaaa! (I have no idea who that is, and there's no one with a trumpet in this place!)"

The demon kid jerked and flew towards Rudy, grabbing his cheeks. "(No way! He's always with you!)" Kree then let go and dropped himself to the floor, legs crossed and hand on chin. "(Could it be...?)"

"He's looking for someone with a trumpet, Red?" Jave reached out to tap the small dragon, making him sit down his master's shoulders.

"Chyaaa... (Yeah, Jave. Someone named Ruu who was supposed to be with Rudy a lot...)" The dragon eyed at the guardian. "Chyaaa. (Guess this guy also remembers things from the "future". I think our Rudy here has not met Ruu just yet.)"

Before Rudy could react from the gaze Jave and Red were giving him, he felt a wild chill run up his spine. He jerked a bit before feeling the presence coming from the closed door of the room. The master and pet also felt it, considering that they flung their gazes at the same door. Soon enough it opened, revealing a rather different Kris at the doorway.

"Kris?" Rudy mumbled his name softly, recalling the same aura coming out from Dellons after the so-called power-up from NK.

The newcomer walked in the farm and went to his colleagues. He noticed the surprise in their gazes, but he only invited Rudy to follow him. He kept his gaze at Jave and Red until they got far enough to be heard.

"NK gave you the same thing, didn't they?" Rudy almost whispered as he visually inspected the new appearance of his friend. He could not help but knit his brows, knowing that that was the power of destruction.

"...It's not given per se." Kris moved to show off discreetly. His mouth was about to open, but he held it- unsure of what NK exactly meant by their words.

"I can't wait to do this with Rudy, too!"

The 'demon ruler' huffed softly to get it out of his head. "Nonetheless, gaining this power meant one thing," -he waited for Rudy to look at his face instead of the new gears- "the world we knew still exists, and our counterparts are having it bad. Resorting to the power of destruction..."

"You're right..." Rudy glared at nothing in particular. His eyes focused on Kris again, only to catch him staring.

"...You guys can tell me to leave if you need alone time, you know." Jave surprised the two by speaking, both clueless that the dragon knight was standing next to them already. He puffed at their reactions before continuing. "Geez, didn't we have a word about this already? No one wants to be left out. If you're talking about something, at least let your friends hear it."

The protector chuckled apologetically. "Sorry, Jave."

The dragon knight turned to the ruler. "Hey, Kris. Dellons mentioned before that NK was looking forward to giving you that kind of power. Did NK happen to say which ones of us are going to receive it as well? It doesn't sound like good news, but I wanna know."

"...No one. They didn't say anything."

Red grunted softly, sensing the lie in Kris' words.

"Kris!"

The three turned towards the door to find Spike giving them a bored look.

"Arena team is heading out. Let's go."

"Spike, wait!" Jave ran off with Red to chase the axman who left without waiting for Kris.

The two friends were left behind for real, but Kris decided to start walking ahead. The demon kid approached him as if asking to accompany him, but he just reached out to pet Kree. But before he reached the door, he heard Rudy call him.

"Kris, NK spoke of me giving in to this power, too, didn't they?"

With a hard huff, the ruler answered without looking back- as he walked out of the farm as well. "I don't know what you're talking about."
