It was a ordinary Monday morning for Toshino Kyoko, a student in Junior High/Middle School. She was walking down the hallways with her group: Yui, Akari, and Chinatsu. She and Yui were dropping the lower classmen on their floor. Parting ways near the staircase, they saw Ayano and Chitose chatting.

"Good morning Ayano!" Kyoko says merrily, "Morning Chitose!"

"T-Toshino Kyoko! Don't scare me like that!" Ayano said, surprised.

"Good morning." Chitose says with her normal smile.

"Good morning guys." Yui says returning the smile.

"Ayano, give me a hug!!" Kyoko says running towards Ayano.

"Wha-"

Suddenly, Kyoko trips on one of the stair's ledge causing her to hit Ayano and make them both lose balance.

When Kyoko opened her eyes and saw Ayano blushing furiously. Obviously embarrassed.

"Sorry Ayano ---!" Kyoko flinched, "Oww, that hurts..."

"Did I hit you?" Ayano asks, seemingly worried.

"No, no." Kyoko turned around and sat beside Ayano. She looked at her bleeding knee.

Ayano followed her gaze, "Oh no! Does it hurt?"

"No, I just scraped it a bit..."

"Scraped?" Yui asks, "It's practically bleeding!"

"We should get her to the clinic." Chitose suggests, "Ayano, do you mind?"

"No, I don't... Well, it's not like a have a choice! This is practically an emergency!" Ayano says, overreacting.

"It isn't really a emergency. It's more of an accident. Another fault of Kyoko's." Yui replies.

"Hehe," Kyoko says mischievously. "Ayano, what about you? Nothing broken or anything? Do we need to call the wambulance?"

"Don't joke around." Yui scolded.

"We'll tell the teacher what happened and that you'll be a little late." Chitose says.

"Thanks Chitose." Ayano looks at Kyoko, "Can you walk?"

Kyoko tries standing up but flinches the moment she stands. "A bit."

"You sure you can handle Kyoko, Ayano?" Chitose asks.

"O-Of course! There's nothing I can't handle!" Ayano replies.

"You sure? Even Yui struggles to handle me. You sure it wouldn't be a trouble to you?" Kyoko asks.

"Hah, of course not! It is the job of the Student Council to help students in need."

"Ok, if you insist." Kyoko says teasingly.

"I didn't insist!"

"'Course you did!"

"Stop teasing her." Yui scolded.

"Well, we'll head on. Take care of Kyoko, Ayano." Chitose said.

"Yeah."

A few moments after Yui and Chitose left, the bell rang and the halls got empty and quiet.
