The infamous Cornwall mansion was built September 3, 1950 on an old World War II battle ground. Here in this house, lived a kind man with his wife and two children. They never thought of the horror that would bestow their family.
Building the mansion on an old World War II battle ground unleashed a curse on the Cornwall family. Their crops died in the winter, Mr.Cornwall lost his job and the family had to live in poverty but, worst of all was when Mrs. Cornwall fell deathly ill in December of 1953. They didn't have the money for a proper treatment, she died that year. The death of Mr.Cornwall's wife and his children's mother took a toll on them all eventually they couldn't live anymore.
One night a man from a nearby town walked by the Cornwall Mansion only to see it up in flames. The man stared on in fright as he heard the pained screams from inside as the hot red flames licked at the sides of the house. The man turned back to get help from the town but, by the time anyone returned it was too late. There was no help the townspeople could do for Mr.Cornwall and his two children as they laid in their burning house.
The old Cornwall Mansion still stands on the World War II battle ground, burned, and charred. No one dares to enter the old house for they say that if you enter you can hear the heartbroken cry's of the two small children for their mother, and the families pained screams as they laid in the fire. Though the main reason no one goes in the old mansion, is because no one ever comes back out.
