I shout but nobody listens
I scream but no one hearkens
I cry but not a single soul cares
So I let myself be with cascading tears
I roll but I can't sleep
I close my eyes, breathing deep
Still negativity stays, peace doesn't come
Comfort and resting are both gone
I sit up and surf away
Grabbing my phone I lay
Staying awake I would be
Reading something to inspire me
Alone in the dark cold night
My phone's the only source of light
Accidentally bumping with someone
Feeling lonely is now gone
