Small world (a Spencer Reid fanfiction)

*sorry, it took so long I've been super busy*

"What's this Spence?" I asked him in confusion he smiled and crossed his hands in front of him.

"It's an application I remember in college you said you wanted to work in the BAU so I asked Hotch for an application to work here," Spencer said in a giddy tone. I smiled seeing him happy made me happy. He grabbed my hand and led me to a room with his name on the door I assumed it was his office. He unlocked the door and we walked in. There was a couch in the corner next to a bookshelf full of books. In the other corner was a little kid's area that was complete with a tiny table some tiny chairs and neatly stacked piles of paper and boxes of crayons markers and colored pencils.

I walked in and sat in the chair opposite of where Spencer was sitting. I filled out the paper with my name the date and some more personal information. Spencer sat and did some paperwork. It took me about 30-40 minutes to fill out the paper. When I was done I handed it to Spencer and he took it out of the room and was gone for about 10 minutes.

"Hotch wants to talk to you right away," Spencer said walking in I could see he was nervous. He took my hand and guided me back to Hotch's office. He hugged me outside the door and I took a deep breath and entered.

"Hello Elisa have a seat this will be quick." He said and gave me a creepy stern smile. I sat down and he read my application. I twiddled my thumbs nervously in my lap. He set it down and crossed his hands looking me in the eye.

"It looks like you have all the qualifications and then some." He said and I smiled.

"Welcome to the team," Hotch said as he shook my hand. I turned to walk out of the room.

"Oh Elisa you and Spencer need to head to the briefing room we have a case to work on." He said in a stern tone. I smiled nodded and walked out. When I walked out I hugged Spencer and he looked at me nervously.

"We have to go to the briefing room we have a case," I said looking Spencer in the eye with a smile. Spencer's face lit up with joy when I said this. He hugged me and led me to the briefing room. There were 6 people in the briefing room when we arrived. We sat down I sat in between Spencer and Morgan. Hotch walked in about 2 minutes later.

"Everyone we have a new member of the group her name is Elisa," Hotch said motioning to me. Everyone looked and said hello I just smiled nervously. Hotch turned and clicked a button causing pictures of three young lady's one picture was of them either school photos or driver's license picture. And then below those where pictures of each of the young ladies but they were covered in blood and placed next to dumpsters and in the forest.

"Someone has been targeting young women between 15 and 20 wheels up in 5," Hotch said and walked out. Spencer stood up.

"I'll go get you some clothes for while we are on the case," Spencer whispered in my ear. I nodded to let him know I understood. He left and I sat there for about 30 seconds.

"So Elisa where are you from." A skinny blonde woman asked me with a smile. Everyone else got quiet nodded and looked at me. I looked around nervously and took a deep breath.

"I'm from Las Vegas," I said in a sheepish voice. Penelope smiled and sat where Spencer once sat. We sat there for another minute before they introduced themselves.

"I'm Jenifer but everyone calls me JJ." The skinny blonde woman said with a smile.

"I'm Jason Gideon but call me Gideon." An old friendly looking man said.

"I'm David Rossi." The old man next to him said.

"I'm Emily Prentis," Said a tall skinny woman with black hair. I smiled after all of them introduced themselves.

"It's very nice to meet you all," I said as Spencer walks through the door followed by Hotch. Spencer smiled and handed me my pink duffle bag.

"Let's go, team," Hotch said and we all walked out we all filed out of the office and into multiple different cars. We drove for about 20 or 30 minutes when we reached an airport and boarded a private jet. Once we were all settled down and had taken off Spencer and Gideon started playing a game of chess. The game only lasted for a minute and Spencer won.

"Would you like to play Elisa?" Gideon asked me with a smile as he reset the board. I blushed and looked at my feet.

"I don't know how to play," I said in a small voice.

"I'll teach you how, " Spencer said with a smile. I stood up to switch places with Gideon and Spencer taught me some strategies and how each piece moves which took about 10 minutes. We then played a game and Spencer wound up winning in 30 seconds. We started landing and Hotch leaned across the aisle.

"You should get dressed into something you can run in when we land and get to the office," Hotch said in a hushed tone. I nodded in agreement as the plane's wheels touched the ground. We all grabbed our bags and filed off one by one and got into some black SUV's. It took us about 30 minutes to get to a large office once we were there I walked to the bathroom. I got dressed quickly into some pants and a t-shirt with the sneakers in my bag.
