*Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while I had my mid-terms to study for and take.*

I walked out of the bathroom still holding onto the strap of my plaid purse that carried some clothes for me. I took in a deep breathe as I walked towards the office where I could see the rest of my team standing. I slowly opened the door and walked Hotch immediately pulled me and Spencer off to the side.

"I need you guys to go talk to the family of the victim's and report back to me on what they say. Find out if the victims did anything out of the ordinary before the went missing." Hotch told us as he grabbed my bag and set it on a chair behind him. Spencer nodded and took my hand leading me out the door of the office and into the parking lot. We got into a car and started driving. We started with the closest of the 4 victims families.

It took us about 25 to 30 minutes to get there. We sat in the car quietly staring out at the road ahead of us. No music. No talking. Just looking out at the traffic and thinking. When we finally arrived I jumped out of the car and Spencer grabbed a notepad and pen from the glove compartment. We walked up to the door where we could hear what sounded like a fight going on inside.

I looked at Spencer and then back at the door. I raised my hand up and knocked on the door. Soft at first and then waited two minutes. Spencer then pounded on the door. It was at the moment we heard a gun go off and someone scream. Then another loud bang from the gun could be heard. Spencer reached for the doorknob to check if the door was locked when a bullet came flying through the door and seemingly between us. To our surprise, the door was unlocked and we walked in. On the floor was what seemed to be the mother and father of the victim. There was no shooter or gun to be found anywhere.

"It looks like whoever did it fled the scene," Spencer said as he turned around. He looked at me and yelled something that I couldn't quite understand and then put his hand on my stomach what seemed like seconds later I was on the ground struggling to stay awake.

to be continued...
