You were in Toronto at Shawn's condo since he's back in Pickering for a few days and you don't wanted to get between his free time with his family knowing that he will spend the rest of his time with you and then going back on tour.

You were holding a duster in your hands and cleaned the shelves as your phone rang. You went to the coffee table to pick it up and answered it.

"Hey Shannon" Karen was on the other line to your surprise.

"Hey Karen, why are you calling?"

"Shawn is sick since yesterday and he keeps refusing to take the pills. He keeps asking where you are and I think only you can convince him to take them. I gave up and Aaliyah didn't wanted to do it cause she knows he will refuse it even if she's his sister. Could you please come over? You can also grab a few things if you don't want to go home"

"Yeah okay, did he drank some tea at all?" You put your phone between your head and shoulder so you could keep talking even if you're grabbing a few clothes out of your closet and putting them in a bag.

"He did for God's sake but if you're not coming then we'll have to force him more to take them"

"Oh yes, well, I'll be there in an hour or so, so just give him something to drink til I'm not there, it helps a little at least"

"Yeah okay, got it. See you then sweetie" "Bye" you ended the call and put the phone away.

As you were driving on the highway your phone started ringing again and you put it on the speaker in your car.

"Shannon, where the hell are you?" Your heard your boyfriend, Shawn whining on the other line.

"Well hello to you too. Why don't you take the pills from your mom?"

"She told you? I told her not to! Oh fuck, my head just explodes right now"

"Hey, first of all she has the right to tell me things because she's your mom and second of all, you're sick Shawn, you have to take the pills cause otherwise we have to go to the doctor"

"Oh no. Not that. Please, pretty please"

"Well you have to promise me that you take them"

"No"

"No?" You asked chuckling a bit. He acted like a child, cute and not willing to do something.

"No. I'm not until you're not here"

"Hang on, I'm in your street"

"Finally" he hung up and you chuckled again as you unbuckled your seatbelt and grabbed the bag to put it on your shoulder. You rang the doorbell and Aaliyah opened the door. "Hey Shanny"

"Hey Liyah. How are you? Long time no see"

"I'm okay, school is starting to stress me out but it's alright." You smiled at her and heard a deep groan coming from Aaliyah's old room in which Shawn was.

Since Shawn moved out Aaliyah got his bedroom which was maybe a little bigger and the other room stood empty but Karen insisted on it to make it to a room for Shawn if he still needed to come home to them.

"He still didn't took them, did he?" You asked looking at Aaliyah.

"Nope and it seems like he won't so you should do something cause I can't take a nap"

"Since when do you take naps?" You questioned her curiously.

"Since I'm going to parties which end at like three am so I have to be up and feel rested"

"Wow okay, Shawn didn't told me this though"

"Cause it's none of your business" She looked at you and you felt awkward.
"I'm just kidding, I'm telling you everything, actually today is my first real party like that so I don't want it to be ruined by the fact that I'm tired, you know"

"I totally understand you"

"Shannon!" You heard Shawn yelling from his bedroom and you made your way towards it.

"I thought you said that you were here 10 minutes ago" he complained and pulled the blanket over his chest.

"I was, I'm sorry I just needed to talk to your sister. How are you feeling?"

You caressed his cheek with the back of your hand.

"Not so well"

"I see. Wanna take the pills?"

"No"

"Shawn, please. You won't choke on them, they are actually pretty small"

"But I don't like them" he pulled the blanket over his head and hid himself underneath it.

"Shawn please" you groaned. It was like trying to convince a five year old kid. You looked around in the room until your eyes found something with what you could change his mind. "Oh well, look what I found!" You walked over to the shelf and grabbed the plush animal Shawn loved when he was a kid. Correction, he still loved.

"No, put Leo down, he's not in the fight. He's on my fucking side"

You looked into Leo's eyes and chuckled "What? You're saying that you're on my side? Oh how nice"

Shawn's knuckles went white while he held onto the sheets he was underneath and you saw it. "Shawn, I'm just joking"

"Can I have please Leo back?" He looked with his adorable puppy eyes into yours but you were stronger this time than him and didn't let him win.

"No"

"No?" He asked in shock.

"Let's make a deal. You get Leo back after you took the pills."

"But"

"There are no buts"

"Fine" he finally gave in and ribbed his face with one hand. You handed him the pills and a glass of water so that he could drink them. After he swallowed them he grimaced and shook his head.

"Here you go" you wanted to hand him Leo but he refused it.

"I want something much better" he said throwing Leo somewhere.

"You just threw Leo away!" You shrieked.

"Come here" you climbed beside him and laid down on his chest with one hand in his graceful hair.

"You're my Leo from now on" he kissed your other hand and you smiled at him.
