"I will... tell them a little fake story you know. They don' t have to know everything. Although I shouldn't tell anybody..." with her last sentence she gave him to know, that she trusted him.
"Okay. Then I promise, I won't tell anybody," Eva wasn't so sure about it.
"Pinky promise?" Andrew nodded and they did their secret handshake.
Andrew made a promise he could never broke. After few seconds of silence Andrew spoke first.
"So now, I promised I won't tell anybody. Maybe you can tell me? I fell that story'll be long so its better that you start it now," she nodded. Maybe the story wouldn't be so long that Nathan expected to be, but probably it will be a little long . Especially if he will ask a lot of questions.
"Ok," she didn't say nothing for a few minutes, cause she had to find words. And then, she finally found them and started.
"We know Nathan since our childhood. We were best friends, and we trusted him -we still do-everything. If we go back two years ago, Nathan saved my life," she waited for Andrew to nodded. She had to go slow or Andrew will explode of anger.
"Of course I remember. He put you down on the floor and saved your life! He was even shoted!" she nodded.
She knew that Andrew remembered that day and somehow she only wanted to remembered him that Nathan is a good person. She doubted that he would think this when she'll tell him about the job.
"Okay. Don't forget that when I will tell the story and what I will have to do," Andrew nodded and then she sloely started with story.
"When I came to the palace, they first took me to Nathan. It was pretty scary you know. In a big room, there were only Nathan and a few servants. They leave after a few minutes. And then Nathan offered me a job. He just said that. Nothing less, nothing more. He just wanted to know if I am interested in getting a job, which is important for our kingdom,
"And you said yes!?"
"Of course I did, " Eva nodded.
"But how could you! You didn't even know what kind of job would be!"
"I knew it could be important, and maybe a little bit risky. But you know. I love challenges," Andrew was quiet so she continued the story.
"Then he send me into my room. You actually know which it was! Do you remember when we ran across the palace and you broke your leg?" Andrew nodded and she was happy that he did. He was a little bit more calmer than a minute before and that was good enough for Eva to continue.
"Do you remember that beautiful royal blue room, where Nathan's babysitter took us and we waited for the doctor? That was my room! It was still as beautiful as I remembered. I got three maids, but I am a hundred procent sure you are not interested in this. So till the next day it didn't happen nothing strange. After the breakfast with royal family, Nathan invited me for a walk and I said yes. Back then I really hoped he would tell me more of his job offer and what kind of job would be,"
"So he told you?"
"Of course he did. If he didn't I would never been telling you about it. Just shut up and listen," she smiled at Andrew and he smiled back at her.
Than she continued: "So, after a while I asked him about his job offer. And he slowly started to telling me some informations. I thought that he will tell me everything, but at the end of our walk I just knew that I would have to spy for somebody. And you'll never guessed what he told me after our walk!" Eva remembered everything and she maybe got too much in memories.
"He said he wanted to marry you? " Eva rolled her eyes and ignored Andrew's stupid sentence. He was joking of course.
"He told me that he shouldn't offered me a job. And that I should forget about it. Than he left me alone!"
"And I can guess that you didn't give up. I know you Eva. When you're interested in something, nothing could stop you to know everything about it," she nodded and they both smiled.
Nathan's plan didn't go good. For him of course.
