Chapter 8

TIME SKIP TO A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER

Tomika's POV

I can't believe that I am finally out of hospital. I could tell how serious it was because Freddy looked like he hadn't slept in months. The best part about this is that I don't have lung cancer anymore as doc had to replace both my lungs. Right now I am hanging out with Zack, fremmer and Lawrence

Freddy: T are you ok

Tomika: I'm fine Fre. Did you sleep when I was in hospital

Freddy: barely

Tomika: you actually have a heart

Freddy: that's it come here

Freddy then started chasing me around the house. We only stopped because Zack pulled me onto his lap and I buried my head into his chest

Summer: I forgot how adorable Zamika was

Zack: your blushing babe

Lawrence: how do you know that

Zack: she buried her head more into my chest

I then take my head out of Zack's chest and I go up to mine and freddy's room and I bring down a box and no it's not our parents it's the stuff I collected from the early stages of our friendships with the others

Zack: babe what's this

Tomika: memories zackie

Summer: OMG I remember this I can't believe you kept it

Tomika: I always keep memories of whenever we do something Sum. With all of you in fact

Freddy: you have always been the girl to keep memories of things

Tomika: at the start of our friendships I would think that my lung cancer would get in the way of it but now I know you guys were true friends

Summer: we will always be here for you Tomix no matter what. With or without lung cancer

Zack then pulls me into a hug and fremmer and Lawrence join in took

Freddy's POV

I am so glad that Tomika is back. She is healthy and back home. That's all that matters. Right now I am with summer, Zamika and Lawrence at the park. Just then I see Tomika move closer to zack and he puts his hand on her waist.

Zack: babe are you ok

Tomika: just tired zackie

Zack: get on my back. You can sleep then

Tomika: ok

Tomika then jumps onto Zack's back and she rests her head on the back of his shoulder and she falls into a deep sleep

Freddy: we better head back

Zack: yeah that's a good idea

We then head back to mine and Tomika's and Zack takes Tomika up to our room and he changes her into one of his t-shirts and he brings her back down and she puts her head on Zack's lap and he starts to rub her arm

Freddy (whispers): we should don't we throw Tomika a surprise party

Summer (whispers): that's a good idea Fred

Freddy (whispers): I'm really glad she's back

Zack (whispers): we all are freddy

As the day went on Tomika slept with her head on Zack's lap and he rubbed her arm. And the rest of us started planning her surprise party. I am so happy that I have my twin sister back
