Chapter 18

Freddy's POV

Right now me, summer, Zamika, Lawrence and mr Finn are walking into the academy. It is bigger than I thought. Just then this guy comes up and hugs Tomika and she hugs back. I could see that Zack was getting jealous

Zack: babe who's this

Tomika (rolls her eyes): zackie guys this is Brandon

Freddy: Brandon

Tomika: he's someone the bands charity helped

Brandon: her charity helped me get the surgery I needed to get rid of my cancer

Zack: what cancer did you have

Brandon: lung cancer the same as Tomika

Tomika: actually my lung collapsed

Brandon: oh my god are you ok

Tomika: I was able to get a lung donor so I don't have lung cancer anymore

Brandon: that's good

Tomika: yeah it is

Brandon: what are you guys doing here

Freddy: we were offered places here

Brandon: you guys are school of rock. I love your music guys

Tomika: thanks we're going to be working on our second album whilst we're here

Brandon: that sounds good. I hope we get the chance to write another song Tomika

Tomika: that would be good it was fun last time

Brandon: I'll see you guys around

Tomika: yeah see you Brandon

And with that Brandon leaves. But before he does he pulls Tomika into another hug and she hugs him back again. I feel bad for Zack, he must be so jealous

Zack's POV

Who the hell was that guy. He hugged Tomika twice. But she hugged back and she's wrote a song with him before. I really hope this guy isn't a problem. My thoughts were interrupted by Tomika kissing my cheek

Tomika: zackie are you ok

Zack: he hugged you twice Tomika

Tomika: zack don't be jealous

Zack: how can I not Tomika, you hugged him back

Tomika: zack your the only guy I love who I'm not related too

Zack: really

Tomika: I thought you knew that

Zack: I did but he hugged you twice

Tomika: he was just happy to see me ok

Freddy: ok can you two lovebirds stop bickering

Zamika: whatever

We then make our way to the directors office and we knock

Director: enter

We then make our way into his office

Director: yes school of rock I presume

Tomika: that's us

Director: ok here's your schedules, the key to one of the recording studios for when you record your songs and you leave locker combinations

Tomika: thank you

Director: I'll get Lucy to show you around after your first period ok

School of rock: of course

Director: and Dewey I'll put your schedule so it's the same as the others

Mr Finn: thank you

And with that we all leave and go to our first class which is music. When we get there all the girls seem to be looking st Zack, Freddy and Lawrence and all the boys are looking at me and summer. So Zack kisses my cheek and Freddy kisses Summers cheek and all the boys and the girls look disappointed

Teacher: you guys must be school of rock

Tomika: yeah that's us

Teacher: what instruments do you guys play

Zack: I play the guitar

Summer: I play the guitar too and the drums

Lawrence: I play the piano

Freddy and Tomika: and I play the drums, guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, violin, cello and a bit of the saxophone

Teacher: ok that's a lot

Freddy: we were brought up on music

Teacher: Freddy, Tomika what do your parents do

Tomika: they were musicians

Teacher: there not anymore

Freddy: they died when we were younger

Teacher: I'm sorry to hear that

Freddy and Tomika: it's fine

We then start the lesson and boy is everyone talented here. I just hope we can keep up with them but I think Freddy and Tomika will be able too
