How you met-
I was walking through the crowd that had formed in Konoha square, the annual food eating competition was held in different villages and this year it was in Konoha.
“Alright! Our last two contestants will how verse each other in an eat off!” The announcer said into his microphone.
I grinned as I moved through the crowd as I was one of the competitors.
“From Konohagakure, we have Choji Akimichi!” The announcer yelled enthusiastically which earnt a loud cheer from the crowd.
A boy with coffee hair and swirls on his cheeks walked up to the stage and grinned before waiting for his competition.
“And all the way from Iwagakure, Himono!” The announcer said just as enthusiastically as with Choji.
I walked onto the stage and noticed how surprised Choji was seeing as I was really skinny.
“Uh, hi there!” Choji grinned.
“Hey.” I smiled.
When we did the competition Choji finished all his food thinking he had won but then he looked over at me then went wide eyed as I had eaten more, I grinned at him then turned my head and burped loudly.
How he told you-
It wasn’t long after the eating competition that my parents and I moved to Konoha, I was put on team 10 with Ino, Shikamaru and Choji, although I didn’t really like Ino.
“So Himono, do you like anyone on our team?” Ino asked one day.
“Yeah, I’m totally in love with you.” I said sarcastically.
“Oh be serious!” Ino snapped.
“Well, I can’t really like Shikamaru because he’s with Satetsu remember? If that’s what you’re getting at.” I said.
“Yeah, pity, she’s so lucky, I mean she stole him off Temari! And she’s like the prettiest girl in her village!” Ino exclaimed with jealousy burning in her eyes.
“Eh, I guess, but I’m not into skinny guys, I like boys that have a bit of meat on them, it makes them look healthy.” I said as I looked up thoughtfully.
“Does that mean you like Choji?” Ino asked in a grossed out voice.
“Yeah, he’s sweet.” I said as I grinned.
“You think so?” I heard from behind me.
I turned and saw Choji grinning.
“Yup.” I replied.
Ino raised an eyebrow at the two of us.
“Hey, wanna get something to eat?” I asked.
“Ok!” Choji grinned as I took his hand and walked off.
“How Choji got a skinny girl is beyond me…” Ino muttered as she watched as walk away.
How it happened-
Choji and I were visiting Satetsu, Shikamaru and their new baby Shamari, she was so cute!
“Aw! She looks just like you Shika-kun! But she’s got her mom’s eyes!” I grinned as I cuddled the little girl.
“If you keep squeezing her like that you might kill her.” Satetsu said uneasily.
“Oh I wouldn’t kill her for the world.” I said as I handed the small baby back to her father.
“So when do you and Choji plan on having some kids?” Shikamaru asked.
“As soon as possible!” Choji grinned.
“In fact, we’ll get started right now! See ya!” I grinned as I pulled my fiancé out the door.
How you told him-
I was making dinner one night when Choji came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
“Hey Choji.” I grinned.
“Hi.” He smiled as he watched me cook.
“Guess what I found out today?” I asked.
“Um…Ino’s secretly bulimic?” Choji asked.
“That was a secret?” I asked.
We laughed but then I stopped and smiled.
“Well? Give up?” I asked.
“Yeah, I give, what’d you find out?” He asked.
“We’re gonna have a baby.” I grinned.
Choji slowly smiled then picked me up and hugged me then started dancing around.
Pregnancy/Delivery-
I was pretty content about my pregnancy, whenever I felt a little down about how big I looked Choji made me feel better, one day when I was just sitting around Choji was out on a mission so his dad was looking after me.
“What’re you doing?” Choza asked.
“Being bored.” I said.
Choza smiled and started to flip through a food catalogue, as he was doing this I felt something run down my leg.
“Uh, Choza?” I asked.
“Hmm?”
“I think I just wet myself.” I said.
Choza looked down at my leg and went wide eyed.
“No your water just broke.” He said.
I blinked and looked at him expectantly.
“Uh…are you gonna do something?” I asked.
“Oh right!” Choza said as he picked me up and started running to the hospital.
A few contractions later it was time to deliver, I ended up having a little girl whom I named Kocho, which is another way of saying butterfly, unfortunately Choji didn’t make it back from his mission until a few weeks later but when he got back he couldn’t keep his hands off Kocho, we had a little boy a few years later and named him Shika, after Shikamaru seeing as he and Choji were best friends.
